L: A generic blonde ale that's a bit redder than usual.
S: Extremely sharp strawberry flavor.
T: A slow earthy start into a strong strawberry tarty beer.
F: A clean simple strawberry beer.
O: A good balanced simple strawberry beer.

Drinking this one under unfortunate circumstances. Currently the Camp Fire is still tearing up California and I picked this one up while fleeing the smoke in Chico. Now that I'm back I wanted to get in the right mind set for the upcoming week. This beer definitely puts me in a better mood. The color is a murky pink... like liquid pink starburst. First time trying a strawberry wild ale. I've heard they are hard to make and usually when they are made they turn out less than ideal (something with wild yeast and strawberry seeds not reacting right? not sure who told me that but its been in my brain since I got into beer).
This beer definitely changed my mood on everything. Perfect amount of acidity, tons of beautiful strawb flavor and just a hint of funk and woodiness. A pricey bottle but well worth it if there are any left. Put me in a great mood to kick this week off into the right direction.
Cheers and stay up!!
