Forget everything you know about IPA’s! This unique and brand new style of IPAs has a super low bitterness, allowing the fresh fruity flavor and aroma of hops to completely dominate. This beer is unfiltered and unclarified, leaving the yeast to add to the smooth mouthfeel. The Galaxy, Mosaic and Idaho 7 hops make this beer super “juicy” and fruity with a strong, citrus bouquet aroma.

12 oz can from Total Wine and More in Short Pump, VA The ale poured a clear amber with a small head and lacing. This is an excellent IPA that can appeal to a broad group of beer/ale drinkers. The aroma is light with floral notes and pineapple. The flavors are more tropical fruit and pineapple. Very balanced IPA for enjoying anytime. The ale has a medium body and average carbonation. This is my go-to IPA!

12oz can from Kroger. Clear amber pour, patchy head, small collar, lacing. Sweet malty aroma, caramel. Taste is caramel, malty, sweet, with a dry hoppy bite.

Dark orange colour with reddish notes. Foamy off-white head. Pine notes. Balancing bready malt. Taste is pine also with toast and a dark sweetness. Full mouth feel. Smooth. Overall, not bad. Average IPA but with a balanced character. Maybe wrongly categorized.

Picked up a mixed case of Three Notch'd from Costco of all places. I've had Minute Man a few times before but my first chance to provide a BA review. Very pillowy off-white head when poured into my pint glass. Almost a burnt orange, nearly transparent look to it. Smell is heavy citrus with lots of orange maybe some pineapple. Taste is good - but almost too citrusy. Would like to have some more malt balance to this one. Mouthfeel is good but there's an almost medicinal quality (childhood memories of St. Joseph's aspirin?) that causes me to rank this as a middle-of-the-road IPA. Also, wouldnt exactly call this a NEIPA (like others have mentioned)

Pours and clear amber with an off white head. Not much character on the nose...some tangerine and more subtle aroma of hops. Sweet orange taste with slight bitterness which dissipates quickly leaving a tangy orange aftertaste. Overrated.

Pretty bitter-less ipa in my opinion. Nice blend of flavor leave you satisfied. With a 7% alcohol volume, this makes for a great beer for all occasions.

Clear amber, nice white head, great retention and lace. Normally I deduct point for haze, but this is losing points for clarity. Haze is part of the style.
Dank, tropical fruit and sweet citrus hop aromas
Pretty much tastes like it smells, with a little bit of caramel
Medium bodied, good carbonation, a little sticky
Not a fan

12oz can, tulip, canned 4/21/20.
Copper in color, which is darker than expected and it’s less hazy too. The head is a beautiful cream colored two fingers that sticks around for minutes.
Orange marmalade, lemon zest, and caramel malt.
Candied orange and alcohol. Alcohol bitterness and sweet jammy-ness are the main characteristics.
Thin, a little sprite-y, quickly dissipating.
Not great, maybe it’s the age, but it’s also not really a NE IPA.

12oz can poured into a tulip
A- pours a clear golden-amber color with a one-finger foamy white head that has great retention and leaves some lacing behind
S- pithy orange, light mango and kiwi, underlying bready malt
T- juicy orange and grapefruit zest up front, followed by a minty green-like hop bitterness, as well as undertones of papaya and melon. Finishes with more citrus zest
M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel and a crisp finish
O- not a juice bomb that you typically expect from the style, but still quite drinkable

I was on an ill-fated road trip to Staunton & Harrisonburg, Virginia back in February when I picked up this beer & one other for The CANQuest (tm). The trip was ill-fated since the southbound train had difficulties & arrived several hours late while the return train was CANXd altogether! 8=O I was nearly stranded until I took a Megabus to DC where I was able to get on a train to PHL & come home. The CANQuest (tm) CAN be difficult at times.
From the CAN: "Leave Your Mark"; "Minute Man IPA New England Style"; "20 IBU"; "This New England Style IPA is unlike any other IPA. It has super low bitterness, allowing the big orange flavor and aroma from the hops to burst through."
Being that they were now identifying it as an NEIPA (Change Request sent), I beCAN with some in-CAN agitation. Following the Crack!, I went with a heavy-handed, aggro C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass. This resulted in the formation of two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, tawny head with excellent retention. Color was an oh-so-slightly-hazy Amber (SRM = > 7, < 9). Nose was very citrus-orangey! Mmm. Mouthfeel was medium-to-full, not quite creamy, but on the approach. The taste was as advertised - very orangey with a light-vanilla sweetness, like a liquified Creamsicle/Dreamsicle! Mmm. I used to really like them & then the CANfectioners beCAN scaling back the thickness of the orange sherbet layer & I kinda lost interest. I was not losing ANY interest in this beer, though! It was quite tasty & remined me of my youthful Summers. Finish was semi-dry because although the bitterness was low, it really was not sweet in any way, IMHO. YMMV.
