L) Pours an ever so slightly hazy amber color with a really thick white head. Great retention and lacing.
S) The smell is resin forward with a bit of yeast like characteristic and breadiness.
T) On the tongue, this brew is definitely sap forward, with a bit of citrus rind. It is rounded out nicely by a slight, bright malt.
F) This brew has a nice medium body and decent mouthfeel. Honestly, it's a bit creamy for the style. It has a medium high carbonation. Not bad at all.
O) This is a good, Virginia, IPA. Would recommend to anyone looking for a local IPA they have not had.

Appearance: hazy orange in color with a 2" head that slowly falls to a thick covering.
Smell: hint of citrus and some earthiness.
Taste: caramel, orange, grapefruit, pine, and a dank bitterness.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied. Crisp from start to finish. Some dryness arrives late.
Overall: an easy to drink IPA that has enough bitterness to keep you happy.

Can into a tulip appears hazy copper with a finger white foam that settles leaving a wall of lace.
Aroma is fruity and floral with slight caramel maltiness, alcohol and minerals.
Taste is hoppy like pine resin, grass and slight mineral component with a caramel malt backbone.
Medium in body with modest carbonation. Decent brew considering the packaged on date was months ago, I bet when fresh this is pretty good.

A: Golden-amber color, but cloudy. Head was a finger of near-white foam; lacing was mediocre.
S: Some mild biscuit aroma, a bit more of the fruity notes (strawberry, apricot), and the evergreen aroma of hops.
T: Malt is subdued compared to tart fruit flavors that dominate: Clementine, nectarine, and bitter orange are noticeable. The finish is tangy-bitter hops, but with each successive sip the bitter finish rises in relation to the tart flavors, and lasts longer; by the end that's all I could really taste.
M: Moist, but crisp and well carbonated. Actually, a little bit over-carbonated (I burped after every swallow), but that was the only flaw in the mouth feel.
O: Decent, certainly drinkable. But the building bitterness and powerful carbonation were just a little off-putting. The IPA market is full of great examples, so there's no point settling for "decent" and "drinkable".

Decent IPA. Pours a hazy golden/orange color with a fairly bigh white head. Some lacing and decent head retention. Aroma is fairly mild citrus hops. Flavor is balanced citrus hops and to a somewhat lesser extent caramel malt and dry bready malt. Good mouthfeel, Not too watery and crisp. Bitterness is fairly good.
A worthwhile try, I would drink this one again.

Looks good with nice lacing and hazy golden amber. Aroma is muddled, and besides some orange, mango, and pineapple are less pleasant fruity esters and spice. Pine and grain, too. For a citra hopped IPA, it is lacking juiciness, and instead is more floral. Finishes very dry and bitter. No reason to revisit this one.
