Visited right around noon on a Tuesday. Happened to be "Tueuzeday, Gueuzeday" on their 8th anniversary week. Got to try some Suarez beers, which was pretty cool. They were pouring a bunch of gueuze or gueuze-style beers, mostly made in the US, from bottles. Additionally had maybe 20 taps or so, and of course all the other bottles and cans. From my PNW eyes, the selection looked pretty fantastic. Also it was neat to see a couple PNW beers on the shelf there.

I talked with the server/bartender/owner (?) quite a bit while I was there. Very knowledgeable about beer, pretty friendly.

Absolutely would go back or recommend it to anyone. Very good place.

I recently relocated to Brooklyn and was excited to finally get to St. Gambrinus after hearing so much about it from NYC beer friends. Well, my first visit happened to coincide with their 7th anniversary celebration cellar sale, so I was able to walk out with bottles of 3 Fonteinen, Jester King, and Tired Hands, as well as some Belgian classics like Rochefort, De La Senne, and St. Bernardus. There was a lively scene of people drinking draughts outdoors (a welcome mid-COVID sight), though i did not get to partake. Prices are to be expected for NYC, which is to say high, but not exceptionally so.

Great place, great vibe, will be back.

Rustic little spot that feels like stepping into a beer shop in Europe. Bar has a handful of seats with a dozen or so 2/4 top tables in the remainder of the space. Beer selection is small for a store, but solid for a bar. Tap list has a little over a dozen offerings. Offerings cover a wide array of styles, but definitely lean towards IPA offerings. Lots of local choices.

Another combination bottle shop/bar, this one located just down the block from the Barclay's Center which was a convenient stop before the Islander's game. Fairly dark inside with a handful of tables and a small to medium sized bar. Cozy.

Beers were well poured into proper glassware with a decent amount of head and served at a reasonable temperature.

Service was friendly and attentive as well as knowledgeable about the beers being poured.

While the selection was not huge, it was well curated and there were a number of beers and breweries I was excited to try. Lots of local NYC/Long Island breweries and a nice array of styles were present.

This is a great bar/shop combo. The tap selection is always fantastic and they're happy to provide a range of pour sizes, which is always appreciated when it comes to trying new beers or keeping to a smaller pour for the high ABV options. All the staff is great and I've always felt welcomed every time I come here. The crowd and atmosphere are all great -- it's very easy to spend any evening of the week here talking with friends and drinking great beer.

Just a block away from the Barclays/Atlantic Terminal subway stop, never was there a such a gold star establishment with such a convenient location!

Part bottle shop, part bar, this small, yet comfy and well cared for spot is much loved by Brooklyn beer geeks. Pay the $60 or so to become a member, because once you see the carefully curated selection of bottles (a mixture of "top shelf" classics and exciting local innovations), you will be back for more, and more. Plus, the free growler and the wicked T-shirt (god, I love those T-shirts) make up for half the price alone! Members also get frequent mouthwatering emails about the exciting new specimens on draft and on the shelf--you'll always want to run out and grab something once the heads up hits your inbox.

This isn't Total Wine, so don't go in expecting to locate your favorite go-tofill-in-the-blank. The selection isn't huge, but trust me, it is GOOD. Sometimes, they may seem to be on a bit of a style kick when it comes to the newer stuff, and that's my only complaint. For example, for a while there the place seemed to be WHOLE LOTTA sours, and now, as if we're going backwards alphabetically, saisons are cropping up all over. Maybe it's just a sign of spring? Regardless, everything is good, and if you want a specific style, there's sure to be something there for you. Love your Trappists? You'll find them all here.

It's hard to go in to buy bottles alone. Once you see the chalkboard menu and engage with the friendly, fun, and wickedly knowledgeable staff, you'll just HAVE to sit down for a glass of something good.

They have my favorite kind of lighting: not so bright that you feel like you're under surveillance, and not so dim that you're wondering, "What color is this IPA?" It may seem weird that I feel the lighting deserves a big mention, but for me, it's a big contributor to what makes this place feel like home.,

I just met my favorite employee there the other day, although everyone there is super cool, for sure. If you see Britta with the hip glasses, somehow subtle facial piercings, and wavy brunette locks, say hello for me!

St. G is one of my favorite places in Brooklyn, and really all of New York City, to drink and buy beer. The tap list is ALWAYS among the best in the city, and on event nights it's truly world class. They're really good at getting the hard to get LOCAL rarities, which is a nice touch. Also, the pricing for draft beer is absurdly low.
The bottle selection is great too: all the beers I want, none of the ones I don't, reasonable-for-New-York prices. And if you don't know what to get, the owner Ray or one of the staff is always eager to give you a recommendation.

I can't recommend this place much more highly.

This place has a great selection on tap of regionals and a fun rotation of stranger brews from the outside. The vibe is great if you don't mode the young Broojlun hipster crowd. Nice selection of craft beer to take out. Excellent product with knowledgeable, helpful staff! Will definitely visit again when in Brooklyn. This place is top notch.

Nice little place that makes up for quantity of selections with quality. They have a nice taplist, small bar, and a garden area to sit outside out back. Have a small, but quality selection of retail beer offerings including many from local breweries.

If you're going to shop for bottles and cans, you may be disappointed. I rarely find anything of note here as it seems all the goodies get bought up almost immediately.

But despair not. Growler fills are the move here and you won't be disappointed with the tap selection. It's off the hook. Always some major gems on here. And if you're unsure, just drink a little something before getting that fill.

I have spent hours here drinking and enjoying the good company. Excellent vibe to go with the excellent beer selection. A standout spot in a city full of them.

Great selection. Fantastic prices - their prices for growler fills is hard to beat in that neighborhood. Small space, but they use it beautifully. Interesting selection, and they are constantly getting new things in. I recommend this place to everyone!

My favorite bar/beer store in the city. A quieter more refined bar for the true beer connoisseur. Constantly revolving tap, growler service, wide and diverse selection of bottles for carry out and a knowledgeable & friendly staff. Great location near Brooklyn's Barclay Center and plenty of public transportation.
