Pours to a straw color, light carbonation and medium head, somewhat weak scent and lacks satisfaction in flavor, sorry.

Pretty good and very sessionable. This is an easy beer leaning more towards malt than hops. Mild carbonation good smell and feel. Glad I tried it.

A recent field trip took me to Subs 'n' Six Packs on Columbia Avenue, a place that I do not get to as frequently as I might like, but I can usually find a few things to take away, making the visit worthwhile.
From the bottle: "Resign from the Routine"; "A clean and crisp lager with notes of honey and biscuit. The grain bill add a beautiful gold hue and full flavor. The Gold Lager proves pilsner style lagers and be full flavored."
I am really on a mission to divest myself of the pesky bottle backlog here at Chez Woody. It begins each time with the Pop! of the cap & goes from there. I began with a gentle pour, but when I noticed that there was not much head forming, I went to a more aggro pour. The end result was a brief finger of fizzy, bone-white head that quickly fell away to wisps. Color was Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 - 5) with NE-quality clarity, prompting a visit from The Gelt Gang of Croesus, Mammon & Midas. Nose was very malty, very sweet, with a breadiness that seems okay, but I would have liked a bit more assertiveness from the hops. Mouthfeel was thin-to-medium, not watery, but not much beyond it, either. The taste had a tea-like quality, slightly minty, sort of grassy, but with a breadiness underlying it. Finish was semi-sweet, slightly honey-like, but more mint tea-like than anything. This was not bad, per se, but it was just not really doing anything for me. Ho hum.

Enjoyed this fine little brew via a friend from work----Thanks Kevin!
This fine brew pours a nice light golden color with a nice white head of foam
that settles to a thick ring and a thin later with light lacing. Light nose of
sweet malt and light grains. Flavors hit the right notes for refreshment with
mild honey and light grains and a herbal hops note. Crisp refreshing and
satisfying. Decent.

I didn't originally know what KCCO meant. In fact, I thought it was the brewery name. Then I realized it meant keep calm and chive on. Great, hipster beer. Oh well, isn't all craft beer for hipsters? Already made the purchase, so I guess I have no choice but to keep calm and drink on.
This beer gave fairly good head, which I enjoyed. Good three fingers that stuck around for a bit. No lacing. There was not a ton of flavor. I picked up hints of beer, my palate isn't very complicated. It was refreshing for a hot day, but nothing too exciting.

This one pours a very clear gold color with a short lived white head.
The nose is heavy malt and fruit with a thin hint of hope and apples.
The taste is a weak hops and dry malt. Not much complexity here.
The mouthfeel is just right for a lager.
Not a great beer but it is a very drinkable lager. This is a great hot day beer.
