You don’t need a compass to find your way to our flagship India Pale Ale. This classic British-inspired IPA boasts a well-rounded malt profile, complex floral and citrus aromas, and generous Goldings dry hopping. Well balanced between malt sweetness and hop bitterness.

Pre-poured growler (i.e., they didn't pour it for me fresh from the keg) purchased at Plaza Package in Great Barrington, for a total of $7.99.
A: Hazy/cloudy dirty golden/amber with a good-sized ivory head. Some lace left behind.
S: Citrusy/floral hops over sweet malt. Hops aren't terribly strong, but it's a pleasant overall sensation.
T: Sweet malt - fruity, perhaps? - that finishes with a drying citrusy hop bitterness.
M: Somewhat creamy in feel, call it medium in heft.
D: Good. Enjoyable, especially at these prices.

If it was a candle, id buy it. Bitter. Not much flavor.

I try to drink local. Luckily Building 8 “the IPA” is for me the best I’ve found for taste, aroma, and price. A hidden gem. That being said Lost Sailor is a very good IPA but for me a little light on aroma and watery on taste. My biggest credit goes to the name of the brew, the all time greatest name ever for a beer and I could drink it all the time if it had the floral aroma and maltiness of Building 8. Still one of my favorites though and a great change of pace.

12 oz can. Pours hazy orange with tall, long lasting, fluffy white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of citrusy hops, bready malt and tropical fruit. Body is medium and crisp. Herbal hops dominate the palate with bready malt and tropical fruit provide support. Finish is long and dry. Good brew.
