Wynwood the new hot spot. Four new breweries in 3 blocks. Picked this up at WF. Popping the top the smell is heavenly sweet bananas and clove like. Pours to a deep orange with a thin head. On the lips it is thick as syrup and complex. Starts sweet then goes tangy and bitter at the same time. Lots of banana especially in the aftertaste. A bit clingy in the finish, not as clean as most Belgians. However it is tasty.

Pretty good. So glad a South Florida brewery other than MIA or Barrel of Monks has gotten into Belgian beers! This beer is CLOSE to being true to the style, but still has some grassy flavors that are incongruent with the style. Nice, sweet, but nuanced in the wrong way. Not so much spice, more grass and hops. If you’d like to try a Belgian triple, my favorite of South Florida so far is Tourist Trappe from MIA. I’d definitely pick that over this, given the option. Only saying this since I know most people reading this review rn will be from South Florida!

This is a very solid beer. I'm honestly very surprised it's not rated higher. One thing I will say, is that I have noticed some inconsistency in the batches over time, but it has gotten more consistent recently. For a beer that clocks in at over 8% (some batches over 9%) it's incredibly smooth and drinkable. Light golden color that's reminiscent of a Wit, but more of Belgian rock candy flavor profile. Worth a try for sure.

Belgian golden.....very nice carbonation. Cloudy bright orange color. Very smooth with a bitter sweet end note. I really enjoyed it....so much I brought home a growler of it. I got it at Proof Brewing company in Tallahassee. ...but it's brewed in Miami at Wynwood Brewery.
