This beer needs a review. On draft Sunday and sippin my growler this evening.

Hazy yellow, soft carbonation with minimal lacing. Punch of juicy, tropical hops in the nose. Pineapple, tangerine, and dank. The sour base beer complements the hops so well. Taste is tart up front, showcases the dry hops perfectly. A marriage of golden sour and fruit forward hops, Tangerang indeed. The best Collab beer I have had. Well done Cellarmaker and Rare Barrel.

Went into this beer thinking - oh yay, a really nice dry hopped sour! Ended up having little to no aroma (even though it was dry hopped by the "masters" of hops), with light lemon acidity and a minor hop note (but not much). Flavor was a straight forward golden sour, which was nice and refreshing but not anything amazing. Meh.

Outstanding dry hopped sour. Strange at first but quickly began loving it.

Had this at the source, Rare Barrel. This was on the trip with the blonde shorty.

Takes the usual golden ale base, dry hopped and I dunno, they prolly took the Cellarmaker name and added some Tang on their behalf and Peninsula dipshits went nuts I guess. This one has a very thin 1/5" white head on the top, quickly recedes. Aroma of sour bomb and citrus.

The citrus is mostly of a lemon character, lesser amounts of tangerine and orange from there. Light body, but plenty of clean sourness, no brett, doesn't really have a wood or oak component to it. Carbonation is where it should be, relatively high for style but the dry hopping and citrus aspect lend itself mouth feel wise to a little more bubbles.

Plenty juicy, in a trend where beers of the wild dimension are becoming more like juice in taste and appearance, this is a good red line to draw where the beer is still very good, but a step in that continued trend's direction would prolly get away too far from a normal good ol' base beer.

Anyways, I liked it.

Look: Poured from a growler. Pretty much no head and golden yellow.
Smell:Some citrus and some subtle funk. Almost like a citrusy IPA but not.
Taste: Citrus burst follow by the tartness of biting into a lemon.
Feel: Right amount of carbonation with some chew and slight bite of hops.
Overall: Solid collar between TRB and Cellarmaker.
