Oak oak oak! An exceptionally dry sour with a strong vanilla and orange presence, but dominated by the barrel character. For me, this is not a bad thing.

On draft 3/28/15. Incredible. Very prominent vanilla, which blends perfectly with the orange/sour elements. Very interesting. One of my favorite sours ever.

10oz pour into tulip. Reviewed from notes.

A: Pours a clear light golden with a short lived fuzzy head. No lace.
S: Very light nose, bright smelling, with hints of vanilla especially as it warms. Mild spice. Plain overall.
T: Bright, light, wheat beer base up front with hints of creamy vanilla in the finish. Not much orange, maybe the suggestion of orange, very subtle in the aftertaste. Mild spice. Huge lactic tart bite.
M: Light body, tons of tartness, tingly carbonation, drying and crisp mouthfeel.
O: I would not know there was orange in this if it wasn't in the description. Flavors are extremely mild overall. Good as a beer but I was expecting more flavor. I'll have to revisit this sometime and update.

The beer offers medium lemony tart up front with a solid wheat base. The beer has slight funk and almost a gas flavor. The beer lacks the "Creamsicle" flavors that it suggests, but instead, is a solid Berliner.

Looks beautiful. Smell is very restrained; citrus, light vanilla yogurt. Taste amps up the vanilla yogurt flavor, bright acidity, slight wheaty presence but not excessively grainy. Really nice.

From 03/14/15 notes. 32oz. weird-looking white growler.

Pours a murky pale yellow color with one inch of bright white head and low carbonation evident. Lots of sour fruits, oranges, citrus, vinegar, light funk, earthy notes, spice, bread, and salt. Way more sour than a lot of berliners, and lightly funky. Very nice.
