Notes:
Bellatrix is a blend of golden sour beer aged in oak barrels with a stunning amount of blackberries. Fermented with a collection of various yeast and bacteria. Bellatrix conjures an aura of freshly picked blackberries and luscious berry preserves with a twist of lemon acidity. Redolent of an overgrown thicket, this excruciatingly delectable sour will leave you spellbound.

2016 bottle into tulip.
A: Pours a clear dark cranberry/violet color with a finger of light pink head that quickly faded into a fuzzy and lasting collar.
S: juicy and jammy blackberry nose with earthy bramble notes and a kiss of acid.
T: follows the nose with juicy fresh blackberry preserve mixed with tart blackberry candy. Acid and tart finish with well integrated fruity acid.
M: medium body, sweet mouthfeel up front followed by clean tartness. Soft and smooth carb. Juicy aftertaste leaves you wanting more.
O: super fruity and jammy with the perfect balance of sweetness to tartness. Surprisingly still juicy for a 2016 bottle. Also, in looking back at my previous review, this is way more blackberry-forward and jammy than it was before the name change.
