Very drinkable pale ale from Liberty Village Brewery. Canned from LCBO and listed as 5.3 ABV. Flavourful with a well-rounded finish. Impressive brew from the guys established in 2012. Keep up the good work!

Smell: caramel, faint grapefruit & grassy hops. Taste: thin mouth feel, muted flavor. Finish: watery lemon juice, slightly hoppy & dry. Promising ale aromas but lager-like taste and finish, meh! (no dates other than a 16 on bottom of can)

This is a bit of a contrast from pour to swallow. The beer looks great. A big frothy head and strong hop aromas give way to a decent middle of the road APA with muted flavours of citrus and pine. The beer is disappointingly thin. Overall this is what i would deem a typical local APA that would work well as a gateway beer for those new to craft. If the taste lived up to the great visual and aromatic appeal, this would be rated much higher.
