Bottled on 10/14/15.Pours into an imperial nonic a clear rich brass color with a full one finger sticky white head atop. The hops are somewhat subdued in the nose, there is a light dankness and leafiness but it's actually quite clean. The palate is a little rough around the edges but that's not a bad thing, some dank skunky hop flavors over top of biscuity malts. The hops are a bit "raw" but I like it,the malt profile is much more precise with it's caramel/biscuit flavors,I like it.

22oz btld 11/16/16. Beer is medium brassy amber and forms a moderate white head. Aroma is decidedly piny. Fitting for the PNW in Winter, I think. Hop forward with resinous evergreen across the roof of my mouth. Thick mouthfeel. While it stops short of syrupy, there's a good amount of residual sugar present to offset the 70 IBUs. A C-hop PNW IPA is a tried and tested formulation, but this balance is exactly what I want in a Double IPA. Recommended.

22 oz bomber bough from "Lifesource" in Salem OR $4.99 Pours a clear dark orange with a very large bubbly yet thick and creamy head. Rich and malty nose, bready, honeyish but also hops put in a good appearance citric.slight resin. Flavour is decidely on the malt side and is pretty sweet almost too candy sugar sweet for my liking...Sweet toffee..a little hop in the end..not really my thing. Moutheel is OK..the best thing is the hops show up after the beer goes down the gullet. Not impressed..its not bad but not something i would look out again.

22oz bomber. Pours copper with off white 2 finger head. Great head retention. Not much hop on the nose. Nice caramel front with a citrus end and subtle hop bite. Fairly light mouth feel. Nice beer, personally would prefer more hop throughout.

Handsome coppery amber color with plenty of white foam in the Affligem chalice. Citrus tang is quite inviting. Spritzy mouthfeel with an acidic touch. Spicy.

Malty sweet bread base. Rather sweet with a grapefruit finish. Very friendly well-balanced brew. I like the Winter IPA idea, mixing some warm malt with the hoppy zing. Moderate bitter aftertaste. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Elizabeth Station in Bellingham.

22 oz bottle pour. golden, orange-ish color with decent head. This looked and like a light IPA and drank like one. It's not bad, but probably not something I would buy again. Malt is maybe a bit more forward than I would prefer but that may be a positive for some.

Bod 10/21/15. Reddish orange in color with aromas of light citrus and bit of pine. The flavor is wonderful almost with belgian beer like notes and a subtle spice that is great with the earthy hops. This beer is so drinkable and balanced I would've thought it was an English style ipa.
