Dark and luxurious like a midnight dip in the warm gulf waters off St. Pete Beach. Rich and Roasty with a hint of chocolate. Both this porter, and a night swim, are best enjoyed with a friend.

Mild, roasted malts aroma with faint chocolate notes. Smooth, slightly sticky thick yet also milky smooth at times.

Pours dark brown with 1/2 finger of tan head that is of disappointingly short duration. No lacing. Smell and taste are milk chocolate with a secondary dark roasted grain. Very fine carbonation, medium body for a porter. The milk chocolate is the highlight. I consider this a fairly solid porter, especially if you are looking for chocolate overtones.

Rich dark liquid with a nice head. Notes of coffee and chocolate. Thought this brew would be a little sweeter than it is. Somewhat bitter on the finish.
Good, but seeking better. if you know what I mean.

I tried a can of this beer whilst on my way to The Masters Tournament. It poured an opaque dark with off white head that left some lace. The scent had roasty notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet dark chocolate malt base and roasty presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Can from ABC in Cape Coral enjoyed at home.
Pours a solid dark brown with a creamy tan head that persists. Chocolate roast and caramel balanced with some earthy pine hops.

Might have left this one in the cellar for too long. No sign of the hops bitterness that others have mentioned.
Poured very dark brown, and cola brown highlights with a tall light brown head that dissipated slowly and left spotty lacing.
The aroma was faint for my damaged nose, but malts did make it through. Not much else.
The taste was, despite of or because of, the lack of bitterness, roasted malts and cocoa and more malts. Good, not great, but I could have had another serving no problem.
The feel was good, very good. Slightly viscous, not chewy, and fit the flavors.
Tasty porter, glad to have tried it, but not the best.

Sweetish, roasty porter, that might be the greatest thing to come out of Tampa since death metal.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter via Randy from work! Cheers!
This interesting brew from what I would commonly refer to as
"Beer Hell!" pours a dark blackish brown with a fantastic head of
khaki foam that settles to a thick ring, thick clumping layer, and sports
some excellent lacing. Nose of dark cocoa, heavy char, and subtle sweet
caramel malts. Flavors surpass the nose with dark cocoa prominent, heavy
char, deep roast, touch of smoke, and faintly sweet caramel malts. Nice
mouth feel in the English style....smooth, coating, light carbonation, and
a bitter malt finish laden with char and touches of smoke with a
dry finish that lingers long.
Overall, it's a solid brew I could enjoy a 6 pack of giving
happiness to the beast of full style and roast.
For "Beer Hell!" it is a nice diversion from the IPA
and IIPA madness that is Florida!
Cheers

I poured this from a 12oz can. The beer had some carbonation and fizz to start but it all dissipated very quickly. Zero lacing. The beer is very oily and dark. The nose is charred malts, maybe a bit of chocolate, maybe some toffee or something slightly sweeter. The taste is a bit less on the sweet side than the nose would indicate. I'm getting some nutty flavors, chocolate, some bittering chocolates, a bit of hop as well, a little burnt roasted malt towards the finish. The mouthfeel is definitely oily. It's not a bad beer, there is no booziness for the 6.2ABV. This is a medium bodied beer, serviceable, not bad. The oily mouthfeel is what stands out. It isn't bad, just not very pronounced.
