On draft at the brewery: pours a clear yellow golden color with white head. Citrus, pine, grass, hay, and some floral notes on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with a combination of pine and floral notes.

Pours dark gold with a large white head on top. Can smell nothing but hops in this beer. Has a super hop taste with a fruity finish. Goes down very easy.

Reviewed from long-standing notes. Poured from 750 mL bottle into a Russian River pint glass.

A: Moderately hazy bright gold, with a two finger white head that lingers for awhile. A good amount of visible carbonation.

S: A big punch of melon, tropical fruity and grassy hops. Some pineapple and mango, with a touch of floral and citrus as well. Cracker malts stay in the background.

T: Follows the nose - melon, tropical fruit and some spicy hops. The light cracker malts provide a baseline, but not much else. Some bitter resinous flavors show up with lingering melon near the swallow and last into the hang.

M: Somewhat light body for style, and good carbonation sensation. The listed 10% ABV is well-hidden for sure.

O: I thought this was really, really good. For my personal preference, I wish they would tweak the hop profile - heavier on the tropical fruit notes rather than the melon. Regardless though, this was really well put-together.

Pour is a dark Amber, dark golden, and slightly opaque. Not much of a head for an IPA comes as a surprise, barely half finger white ring. Moderate lacing.

From the smell alone you can tell it's a hop bomb. I'm getting a lot of hop resin, citrus, sweet bready malt. Some very very slight mango and melon going on. A grassy, earthy smell with some pine too.

Taste very pine foward, and hop resin finish. Pretty bitter, but no alcohol bite. Very straight foward with the taste. Big, hoppy, bitter.

Mouthfeel is pretty thick and hop resin definitely lingers.

Big straight foward beer. Definitely a hop heads beer. Damn near a barleywine with the thick mouthfeel. Not the be taken lightly and I'm not disappointed.

Poured into a Dogfish traditional oversized snifter. Label says 06/02/16.

A- Pours a medium amber color with a 1/2 inch off-white head that retains decently before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a mostly full sheet of sheer surface foam. Semi-resilient lacing leaves small clots behind.

S- Explosion of sharp hops, sweet malt and booze. Like an amped up hoppy barleywine.

T- Taste is much more smooth than the aroma lets on. Lots of grapefruit and pineapple notes with just enough sweet malt to balance. Bitterness is assertive and there's certainly a noticeable alcohol presence but it all somehow makes sense within the flavor profile.

M- Very sharp from the hops and booze with medium carbonation and a body leaning toward the lighter side.

O- To me, this is like an updated version of DFH 90 Minute. Boozy, hoppy, barleywine-esque. The hops just sing more than 90 Minute and it's not quite as malty.

Purchased a 750ml from the Coppertail brewery.

Appearance: A light honey color, although it is rather dark in the room.
Smell: Very hoppy .
Taste: Very hoppy. A nice hoppy/citrus taste....
Feel: Very bitter on the tongue and the lips.

Overall: A good beer but not worth the cost.

some other people say the taste isn't good. .they are nuts. .
This brewery might be in Florida. .but the taste is and could be a heady twin. .so drinkable it's nuts like a topper. I loved it. I know anyone who tries it will love it too.
Smooth. Citrus. Floral. Just MMMM GOOD.

750 ml bottle. Pours hazy orange amber, thick fluffy head, slowly fades leaving lace everywhere. Tropical aroma, pineapple and ripe peach, orange. Taste starts with sweet malt and citrus, quickly turns to dank pine, then finishes very dry with earthy herbal dankness. A little boozy at the end. Medium mouthfeel, semi slick. Overall very nice DIPA, would definitely drink again.

Appearance- Hazy yellow not clear but pours a clean head that dwindles over time
Smell- Like a fresh cut field
Taste- Very floral with some citrus but mainly grassy and a sweetness erupts with the first sip and continues
Mouth feel- DIPA qualities very danky but still completely easy to drink the whole bottle
Overall- Special release for now and $15 a pop. Good beer maybe a little hyped but if it goes into a larger scale production price will most likely go down and make it more desirable.

I like everything about this beer except for the taste. Sadly, that is kind of important. haha. I think hop heads would love this beer. It has nice character and pours a beautiful apricot color with nice floridness on the nose. Unfortunately, it is just way too bitter for me. No balance and numbs the tongue. Not for me.

This is a wow beer; among the best big IPAs I've had from Florida and truly world class. Dark orange, sticky head that laces the glass. Bursting with grapefruit and caramel malt sweetness in the back. Hints of herbal hop but not really a pine presence. Moderate bitterness to balance the sweet juicy citrus. Like a little brother to Boneyard's Notorious.

Bottle price at $15 felt a bit on the high end. Hopefully more steady production brings this to smaller formats and lower price point.

Has sweet caramel malt with some citrus fruit. It's very sweet with some bitter herbal notes on the finish. Mouth feel is full and sticky. Really nice beer. The initial burst of sweetness on each sip is a little strong.

Bottles from the brewery:

A - Slightly hazy pale yellow moderate apparent carbonation light foam.

S - Bright herbal citrus

T - Spectacular. Not too big. Reserved but incredibly put together. Bitter and dry but not overly so. Orange hoppy. Sharp pleasant tang.

F - For a relatively light DIPA it has a pucker and slightly powdery feel that gives it a wonderful presence and body. Works well for the style.

O - A near perfect beer. I hope they keep it up.

This is one of the best DIPAs I have had this year.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Hazy orange. Medium white head and a medium collar.

Smell - Someone is cooking while I drink this, but I smell garlic. Otherwise some citrus and sweet smelling pale malt.

Taste - Grassy hops. Citrus and sweet malt up front, but it quickly becomes herbal and grassy. Moderate bitterness.

Mouthfeel - Medium heavy. Medium low carbonation. A little creamy. A touch of astringency and booze.

Overall - Surprisingly good for how sweet it is. I seldom say I like these "balanced" DIPAs, but this is nice.

If they bottle or can this, look out, it's easily the best hoppy beer I've had from the state of Florida. Dank, resinous, loads of tropical fruit, creamy mouthfeel and long-ass finish. This beer is the TRUTH. For reals.
