Poured on-tap at the brewery and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a hazy, yellow-gold coloring with a filmy, clingy, white head. Nose of citrus, grass, cedar, and subtle bitterness. Flavors are resinous forward, with a solid lemon-lime blast. Cut grass and lemon pepper spice highlights. Light, smooth body with a grassy and tangy sweet aftertaste. Clean, smooth finish. Solid brew.

Pours into a small tulip glass a clear rich brass with a large blooming sticky white head atop that took quite awhile for it to settle into a frothy mass.Very fruity in the nose along with underlying grassiness, alot of citrus without much bitter notes.A medium smoother feel is quite nice.A pretty well rounded hoppy palate but nothing really sticks out, some citrus and grass stick out but neither pack a big punch,a mildly sweet biscuit malt base is there to the finish.A good/ decent beer wich could be top notch in my opinion.

Not bad at all easy drinking IPA even with leanings toward a blue hearted. Standard look nice foam, creamy. Smell not strong citrusy. Creamy smooth mouthfeel with a nice malt hop combo but not enough hops. Mild orange citrus taste lingers and covers the mouth smoothly. Easy drinking even mild just want the hops to stand out a little more. Would def order again. From draft at Fran's.

Picked up a four pack of cans today at Lowes Foods. Pours haze gold turning to copper with a big beige head and spotty, sticky lace. Nose is underlying citrus and malted and flowers.

Citrus and pine wrangle most of the flavor, with minimal balance and a broad, refreshing finish. Texture is oily and relatively tight.

Not a bad IPA, although maybe not as many bells and whistles as some.

Nice orange beer with a white head. There was a medium amount of lacing left behind. Malty and hoppy smell with a touch of citrus. The taste is citrus pith and piney hops with a decent malt sweetness. Nice medium mouthfeel with a decent amount of carbonation.

A: Pours a very cloudy golden apricot in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation along the edges of the glass and some faint golden yellow + orange highlights. The beer has a three finger tall creamy foamy beige head that slowly reduces to a large patch of medium thick film covering the entire surface of the beer with a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of citrus/grapefruit pith and grassy hops over the top of bready + pale malt aromas.

T: Upfront there is a moderate flavor bready + pale malts with only the slightest hint of sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of citrus/grapefruit pith, citrus/lemon zest/lime zest, and grassy hops which impart a light to moderate amount of bitterness which fades away pretty quickly.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Almost creamy upfront with a hint of dryness in the finish.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol. Enjoyable hop flavors and aromas.

On tap at Rooster Wood Fired Grill in the heart of South Park.

I wasn't planning on imbibing at lunch but I loved the smell of the beer after my Dad ordered it.

Awesome floral and citrus notes. Mouthfeel and taste were fantastic.

Very smooth, citrusy, and was surprised at the lack of bitterness at the end. Very drinkable.

The finish is absolutely excellent.

Wow, I wasn't prepared to be introduced to an incredible NC IPA, but this is one for sure. This is definitely a top 2 NC made IPA.
