Courtyard is a tiny brewery that, from what I hear, makes good beer. Every time they put their own beer on draft it has been gone very quickly, so, unfortunately I didn't get to try any.

The vibe, the guest beer selection, and talking with the owner is what made it for me. They had about 19 different beers on draft and most of them were either local rarities or beers not frequently available in NOLA. It's mostly an open room with a few places to sit, and a large....courtyard. If you're a beer dork in NOLA this is an absolute must-stop, but it's also good for small groups.

A diamond in the rough. You won't find it unless you're looking for it. Extremely small inside but some relaxing space outside. The tap list is incredible for a spot this small. Everything I tried from them was delicious. I only wish I had time to try more. Take a detour from the french quarter and check this place out.

Chill chill chill. Great little spot for some terrific house + friends beers and nice food trucks most days of the week.

Really cool little place that has an amazing selection of in-house and guest beers. Very impressed by their sours. Wish I had more time to sit and relax and try a few more if their beers.

visited on a Saturday afternoon after a day exploring the Garden District. It's just a few block walk from the St Charles Ave trolley line.

funky spot in an industrial area, but they'd made it feel unique and inviting. the bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable with recommendations. they had about 8 or 10 of their own beers, plus 10+ more of guest taps. so wide variety of beers and styles.

Great spot right off Magazine St. 20+ taps or so... their beers are a solid 4/5 and they have a great selection of other breweries. Everything from Saisons and sours to IPAs

I was able to stop by Courtyard during my latest visit to New Orleans. I walked over from the CBD and enjoyed the hike (except for the heat and humidity : ) ) .

As you approach you will see their front outdoor area. It was a little hot, so we decided to sit inside for the first few beers. Inside the public space consists of a small bar, a few seating areas and two bathrooms.

If I recall correctly, they have 24 beers on tap. They are mix of their own beers and well-chosen guest taps.
I enjoyed a couple of their wheat beers and a cloudy house made IPA.

Service was friendly and obviously knew the beers.

They had a decent sized crowd enjoying the beers, atmosphere and each other. It is dog friendly and I also saw a pet pig!

They had a good food truck while we were there. I can’t recall the name, but they had awesome crawfish poor boys and garlic fries.

I really enjoyed my stop here!

Looks a little smaller from the outside. Vibrant on the inside. Food trucks outside. Live music. I CA. Dig it. They have a good mix of their own stuff on tap plus guests. Knowledgeable pouring staff.

Kind of a hole in the wall type atmosphere. They offer their own brews on tap as well as other breweries and also sell bottles. I was pleasantly surprised. I sampled their stuff and everything I had exceeded expectations. I can't wait to go back and try more. 30+ taps with growler fills available.

Here to echo everything that has been said here. Stopped in last week and the brewer was there. Was very friendly and passionate about beer and brewing. The brewery does appear to be an old cargo storage area, but it is decorated tastefully with local beer artifacts. The place has 19 local beers on tap including four home creations. The two Courtyard beers I had were both really good. Their brown was borderline amazing. It was fascinating hearing the head brewer talk about his vision for the beer. The brewer also believes in quality and was cleaning the tap lines when I entered. He told me that they go through a rigorous cleaning once a week and wanted to make sure that customers had a quality experience. The brewery is not that far a walk from Avenue and makes a wonderful afternoon combo trip. I would say that this is a must visit for anyone stopping in the area.
