i thought this place was awesome, better than its ratings in any one specific field by a mile. its situated on the way to napa from petaluma, on a beautiful stretch of road that seems to be a lot more wine than beer focused, with plots of grapes everywhere the eye can see. this space is gorgeous, it all looks new, and there is a pond and garden sanctuary looking area in the front where you can walk around with a beer or sit and unwind with one, its an amazing slice of scenery to drink a beer in, everything on this property is immaculate and its mellow and peaceful on a saturday morning. the newness and manicured nature of the grounds yields a somewhat sterile taproom atmosphere, but partially because we were the only ones in here. a nice young gal behind the bar shares some samples as we take in the brewer house to our right and the limited but intriguing beer menu. they have a small but unique selection, and both beers we had were quite good, including an unfiltered pilsener and a hefe. the quality was solid, but they didnt floor me, but this is a wonderful spot to check out if you are in the area, a really different, agricultural sort of vibe for a brewery, and really drinkable beers. if i find myself out this way again, i will assuredly pop back in. loved the outside space!

Wow - a brewery right in the middle of wine country. Great place to go if you are with friends on a wine tour and you have a taste for a good beer. The place just opened 7 months ago and is a find. I had their "flight" of six 5oz samples. I don't typically order a pilsner, but it comes with the flight - and I'm glad it does. This was probably the best Pilsner that I've ever had. No food inside, but they had a food truck parked outside. They also have a "beer garden" with an outside tap, so you can enjoy the Northern California weather with a nice cool one. Also, the service was the best I've had - my wife and I felt we received special attention. I will be back.

We stopped in here on our way from Sonoma to Yountville. Always excited to find breweries on or near the Napa side. The tasting room is beautiful. Open airy, well designed with a beautiful bar, comfortable bar stools and plenty of room for tables.

We pulled up stools and found 6 beers on tap, which we could sample for $15. Seven ounce pours but still this is the most expensive sampler flight I have ever come across (maybe not on a per ounce basis but a four or five ounce sampler for $9 would be more to my liking anyway).

We would not have minded as much if the beer was good but I am sorry to say that it was a huge disappointment. Liked the Jefe-Weizen (nice yeasty character), thought the Morena Ale was decent. The regular IPAs were awfully bland with little hop character in flavor or aroma. The Pils was not good and the Doble IPA was undrinkable. Seems like a fermentation problem.

We left more than half the sampler and moved along. Bummer. They have only been open a couple of months so maybe time will make things better.
