Earthy, dark raisin bread, smoky this is I suppose best classified as a dubbel or Belgian dark. Lower than typical on abv but you wouldn't know it from drinking. Has a full, chewy mouthfeel. Low on fruity esthers and big on phenols. Big bread notes caked in earthy hops. A bit more hopped than most Belgian beers. Good stuff.

L- Quite a dark mahogany brown, with a slight haze to it (further sediment was left in the bottle). Pours with 2Cm pillowy pale tan head (ps holds well).
S- Quite mild for me, just some toasty grains.
T- Toasted malts and grains then some ABV% like zing comes along, which would be odd for 'just' 5.5%, hence I think it's zingy hops combining with a quite deep flavour to imitate the punchier taste of a higher ABV%.
F- Punches quite heavy for a lower ABV% beer. It has a quite deep flavour so is more of a slow-sipping/colder months beer than sessionable in summer.
O- I like it. It has a moderate richness but nil risk of straying towards sweet - which some bruins do and indeed some cross into almost an outright sweet facet. It has a good deep flavour, and punches above it's ABV% for 'impact on palate'. I'd happily drink this again.

Pours a murky dark-brown color with a small top of white head that dissolves quickly. Aroma is of dark malts, caramel, tofee ,bread, raisins and matured fruits. The flavours is sweet with notes of dried and matured fruits at the start with notes of malts, caramel and bread in the back. The finish is slightly bitter and it works quite good with the malty tones in the back. Aftertaste has a decent lenght. Mouthfeel is smooth and soft with medium carbonation and a medium body.
A quite good and easy drinking dark ale. A good alternative if you want a belgian with a lower abv.

Brown color with tan head. Aroma has wort sweetness and roasted grains with some earthy hops in the background. Taste is mostly malty with roasted grains and some brown sugar. Medium to light body and carbonation. Easy drinking, roasty ale, really similar to a porter.

thanks to Luis for the share -enjoyed from the bottle in an oversized wine glass.
The color is deep brown with translucent clarity and light beige head with spotty lace pattern and good retention. The smell is slightly sweet with malt forward aroma with mild yeast ester and gentle malt toastiness in the smell with a light dried fruit essence with mild plum scent. The feel is very good with smooth malt and low bitterness with mild sweet quality toward the middle yet low roast and soft yet dry finish.
The taste is very good with a subtle Belgian yeast flavor with more of a sweetened coffee type taste in the malt with a mild roast component in general with gentle dried fruit in the yeast flavor. Overall I think this is a very good, highly drinkable moderate strength dark Belgian ale

MJ's "Great Beers of Belgium" pronounced this "creamy and toasty."
My Kerkom notes needed to be hunted down... as this Bruin again.
