Poured from the can into a nonic(k) pint glass. Packaging looks like May 31 2022.
Peach and grapefruit like orange, with just a hint of pink to the body that's opaque but not murky. Quite a big full three finger fine head, with lots of staying power. Very nice thick cap retention as well. The beer though has just a bit of a dull look to it unfortunately, but is otherwise solid to the eye.
Good aroma, simply strawberry with a light cream sensation that is more milky than sweet sensing. Goes to a nice light vanilla almost condensed milk flavor on the nose as well, with minimal grain, and no sourness either.
Palate is sort of pedestrian. Real light bodied even for a cream ale, with wet character, and fleeting touches of watery tasting strawberry. Little sense of white Duncan Hines cake mix quality and a finish that really dissolves too quickly.
Really needs a solid malt backbone to push the flavors through nicely. Otherwise, passable but nothing real impressive.

Pours a med frothy pinkish 1 finger bubbly head with med retention, fair sticky lacing, very hazy opaque, not sure how to describe the color, like a pinkish orangey color like grapefruit mixed with orange juice?
Nose is interesting, definite strawberry in there, berry juice and some musty seed like notes, a little doughy creamy malt with some corn notes, straw, a little plum fruit as well
Taste starts with creamy base beer, cream ale, doughy wheat like malt, soft proteins, little corn like character and cake batter, straw and dough, fair strawberry as well, strawberry juice and a little generic berry fruit juice, touch of bitter stem/seed character, almost thinking I get lactose but could be vanilla icing from wheat, med sweet sticky finish a touch dry, little tartness as well
Mouth is med to a touch lighter bod, quite creamy and soft, med frothy carb
Overall an interesting beer, definite strawberry and some cream ale although I feel like exaggerated cream ale maybe to get through the fruit, still enjoyable beer
