From a 12oz can, dated 05/03/17. Served in an imperial pint pub glass.
Pours a thoroughly hazed golden-straw-yellow with a couple of fingers of soft ivory head. Retention is just OK but leaves an honest collar of foam and some nice sticky lacing.
Smells of clean wheaty maltiness, orange peels and a hint of mint.
Tastes of crackery, spicy wheat and orange juice. Some grapefruit peel, grassy herb and bhang water. Ends with a quick, clean rosemary and pine resin bitter finish.
Feel is clean and crisp, slightly less than medium bodied and brightly carbonated. Very easy drinking.
Overall, a nice little beer from BBC that feels bigger than it's stated abv of 5.8%, not in terms of booziness (none detectable) but in its solid, substantial body. This would be an eminently suitable lawn mower beer.

Very refreshing wheat ale. I found plenty of juicy citrus mid palate and a pleasantly prickly peppery finish. This had a fairly hefty body but this was still plenty quaffable.

Can to pint glass. Cloudy orange amber with a thin head that dissipates fast. Cloves, some banana and citrus in nose. Peppery spice orange flavor with a little pine finish for the hops. Peppery bite for mouthfeel, very drinkable. Pretty refreshing drinkable brew.

The appearance was a light golden yellow color with a bar pour’s kind of slim head that just slid into oblivion. Rating adjusted accordingly. The smell had a big burst of hoppy orange to lemon. Some grapefruit pulp and rind shows up in a light bitter to sweet context. The taste was moderately sweet showing its eloquence through the bitter in the hops. The wheat level seemed appropriate with a nice quick aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about light bodied with a really nice sweet citrusy pounding sessionability about it. Carbonation seems to hit right. Overall, as an American Pale Wheat ale.

great hazy golden appearance, sick lacing. thie one has some orange, grapefruit and floral notes, bread, fruity hops, hint of gummy sweetness, grassy, green. very smooth on the mouthfeel. highly drinkable and just the right amount of hoppyness to really set this apart from other wheat ales, without being overbearing.
