032522 date on can. Opened and reviewed on: 5/25/22
Looks: A white glow in the straw gold color. White fluff head style cap, stays nice and high with good lacing.
Nose: The aromatics of these hops together have a very deep, creamy vanilla orange smell with wild berries, smooth oatmeal in the grains and a tangy nose kick.
Flavor & Feel: The grain bill is very complex and the 20% Oats makes for an excellent fluffy, smooth and soft feel. Not to mention the malty grains base really adds major character to the super orange fruity hop complexity. There's no lack of earthy bitterness either, which rounds out the citrus and cream very well.
Overall: well played BBC! A fine NE big IPA.

Had this before and wasn't impressed, but had no canning data. Now, under 30 days old, trying again, and yup, this is some darn fine tasty stuff from BBC once again. Gotta be the oats, I'm a sucker for that smoothness it imparts. When beer this good are becoming commonplace I'm bound to develop liver issues. Yum.

16oz can dated 11/19/21.
Pours murky gold with a inch of white fluff. Moderate retention and lacing. Dank and garlicky in the nose. Medium bodied with a chalky mouthfeel. Pithy citrus on the palate with minimal malt and a drying bitterness. Grapefruit, unripe peach, and pineapple pith. Finishes dry with lingering unripe citrus.

Poured from a 16oz can dated 12/23/20. Pours cloudy, orangish color with minimal head - what little appears quickly recedes. Very subtle fruity and bright flavoring. Nicely done and another good one from Burlington.

Picked-up a four-pack of cans at Bradford's in Plymouth for about fourteen dollars. Have had a few brews from these guys before. Very nice brew, enjoyed my elevator ride.

Pint can poured in to a nonic glass. No can dating.
Look- Murky golden straw colort, decent off white head that slowly recedes to a thin foam cap, ample lacing. Little to no carbonation streaming as it sits.
Smell- Big citrus (orange, grapefruit, lemon and lime), tropical fruits (pineapple, mango, papaya and passion fruit), nectarine/peach, a bit of melon and dank, grainy malt, little pine, some herbal/floral notes.
Taste- Seriously juicy citrus and tropical fruit, nectarine and peach, some melon, honey and grainy malt, negligible pine and some other herbal/floral hop notes.
Feel- Heavier side of medium bodied, soft and creamy, somewhat sweet and sticky up front with a lingering lightly bitter finish. Moderate/light carbonation on the tongue.
O- Another high quality NE hazy, this is killer. Definitely worth checking out.

Damn this beer is good. Took a long walk with the dogs, sitting outside in late april, sunny 58 degrees. Homebound and then I pop this baby open. Double hop explosion, strong and beautiful hop essence. Does this brewery not make any great beer? They have reached a summit with this one. Thank you everyone at BBC.

A delicious subtle double IPA with a light pour, a potent aroma, and a sharp, but easy to drink bite to it. One of the best Double IPA’s I’ve had in a long time.
