Disappointing. More malty than anything else. Slightly citrusy flavors, but not strong enough for a true NEIPA. I don’t think it’s that old, but if I let it age too long, then I really can’t blame the beer.

16iz can from Tavour. Dark golden, hazy pour, foamy head subsides to patchy fine bubbles, streaky lacing. Malty aroma with notes of orange. Taste is caramel, orange, malty, muted sweetness, almost sticky feel. Silky mouthfeel, minor bitter finish fades.

Hazy gold pour with fine head that dissipates quickly leaving a thin raft of bubbles. Smell is oranges and a trace of pine; taste adds some grapefruit bitterness. Slight alcohol tang, forgivable in a 8.3% DIPA. A little lacking in bitterness.

Overall a very nice beer - the best I've tried from this brewery so far.

Wow! This hits all the marks. Great citrus smell and vanilla. Incredibly balanced hop flavors. The citrus and the pine in perfect proportions along with the berry and vanilla flavor. Great body, right amount of oats, slight bitterness on the finish to round everything out. This one is a winner!

Pours a hazy light orange with a 1F head and light lacing.

Smells of floral grassy hops with some citrus and sweet fruit.

Tastes of slightly tart grapefruit, orange , pineapple and mango with a mildly bitter finish.

Medium body with light carbonation. Lightly lush and oats in the malt smooth mouthfeel.

This is well balanced , well made and very drinkable brew. This brewery has yet to disappoint!

Hazy light amber with a 1" cream colored head, which lasts. Heavy lacing to the end.

Aroma is strong pine, grapefruit, orange.

Taste follows nose: Pine, grapefruit, orange.

Medium body, light carbonation. Dry, resinous finish.

One of the best NEIPA's. Tasty!

032522 date on can. Opened and reviewed on: 5/25/22

Looks: A white glow in the straw gold color. White fluff head style cap, stays nice and high with good lacing.

Nose: The aromatics of these hops together have a very deep, creamy vanilla orange smell with wild berries, smooth oatmeal in the grains and a tangy nose kick.

Flavor & Feel: The grain bill is very complex and the 20% Oats makes for an excellent fluffy, smooth and soft feel. Not to mention the malty grains base really adds major character to the super orange fruity hop complexity. There's no lack of earthy bitterness either, which rounds out the citrus and cream very well.

Overall: well played BBC! A fine NE big IPA.

Love the complex grist bill, oats makes it fluffy soft. A very solid malt and grain base. The hops are creamy orange and tangy wild style fruits. Earthy, bitterness within the fruitiness as well. Great taste and very complex. Very well crafted NE big IPA.

Had this before and wasn't impressed, but had no canning data. Now, under 30 days old, trying again, and yup, this is some darn fine tasty stuff from BBC once again. Gotta be the oats, I'm a sucker for that smoothness it imparts. When beer this good are becoming commonplace I'm bound to develop liver issues. Yum.
