Latest batch.
Moderate pour yields a 1/2 inch white head over a murky body with some lacing. Nose is the best attribute with tropical and citrus fruit like you read about. As for flavor? Such a disappointment as the bitterness on the palate after such a remarkable nose is quite offputting. Feel is another downer as the carbonation is lacking as in most murky juicebombs. Overall, yet another example of a beer that should never, ever darken the doors of IPA land. Get yer own style! Cheers!

Poured from the can into a snifter on the day of release (11/24/17).
Pours a glowing and totally hazy bright deep blonde. Half a finger of head.
Aromas are insane. Dank, citrus, tropical fruit. Hops galore.
Flavors are just as incredible. Complex, vibrant layers of citrus, tropical fruit and dank hops.
Mouthfeel was really solid here,
This beer is even better than the 2nd anniv. IPA which I held as Joe's best IPA to date. This beer is on level with Trillium.

Wildly opaque tan to murky yellow with a thin but persistent creamy film clinging at the edges with a slight ridged collar.

Smell is toasted cracker, burnt rubber, cannabis and dank onion peppered with mango, papaya and blood orange.

Taste is cannabic resin, burnt rubber, toasty cracker and orange with an almost candy cane and Smarties accent. Kiwi comes out in the aftertaste, with a somewhat boozy heat you don't often find in an IPA, no matter the strength.

Body is moderate with a velvety, firm fizz that thins and dries out on the swallow, giving an acidic burn.

Tall can w/o canning date info.

Typical NEIPA kinda pour, cloudy, thick and frothy

Ripe, jammy fruit on the nose..

Pineapple, ripe, soft, dank and tasty, all over this offering....delicious nectar....more impressive stuff from Burlington Beer Co.....go get some

Poured into a 12 oz Foam Brewers thin tulip glass not sure when it was canned. Pours like a glass of pineapple OJ, with a massive 2 plus finger head that clings to the sides of the glass leaving big thick waves of lace.

Smell is papaya, guava, tangerine, pineapple, and grapefruit rind.

Taste follows tropical front to back, really bold but crazy balanced, not overly bitter with just a hint of alcohol in slightly puckering grapefruit finish.

Mouthfeel is big and soft, not dry but slightly sticky from the crazy amount of hops, and drinks like 8% and that is scary.

Overall I don’t give many 5s but I wouldn’t change a single thing with this one. Outstanding!

L - pour is straight hop mud. Brown haze... braze? I don't think I've ever seen an IPA look this thick. The head is creamy as can be and sticks to the glass like tree sap to.. pretty much everything.

S - the dank. Onion peel and sweaty, gritty pineapple zest. Puckering grapefruit rind and whiffs of lemon vanilla candles.

T - aw man, taste isn't nearly as saturated as I was hoping for. Aggressively herbal and acidic. Fortunately, as it warms, that saturation starts to come through. Yeasty and tangy, this is loaded with pure hop essence. Honey, oats, and grape-infused papaya. Lemon peel and lime soda. Lots going on here in a potent package. Fair amount of burn on the finish. This is going to be less than fun by the time I get to the last few sips. Better drink these fresh.

F - thick and chewy. Milkshake feel that is oh so satisfying. Soft and velvety, really coats the mouth and works its way into every crevasse. Feels like it has become one with my body.

O - big, bold, and unrelenting. Love the flavors and feel, but remember that throat-burning grey area? Yeah, well it's right on that line, if not sightly over. For best results, drink this quickly, but at the same time don't because you'll be sorry. Good luck.

Wow. Lots going on here. Pours a hazy thick color. Looks like a grapefruit float. Nice creaminess in flavor and head. Lots going on with flavor. Bitter. Sweet. Grapefruit. Feel is wonderful. I can tell this is a 10%. Outstanding and happy I got to try this.

Looks like a glass of fresh, thick pineapple juice. Similar aromas and palate of tropical fruit. Sleek and delicious.
