Who doesn't love a good honey IPA? This was a fun beer that wasn't quite anything that I had before, as I found this as a single can up at The Bottle King in Wayne. More importantly, this wasn't one-dimensional as it had plenty of flavor to it as the notes really shone through once this fully warmed up, although the honey was still dominant in the end.
Quite hazy in appearance, this off-gold beer was topped off with plenty of foam that settled slowly and unevenly. A decent amount of lacing was left behind as much of the suds slid down after each sip. Lots of hibiscus, potpourri, and floral notes were in the nose as the taste was more dank with a ton of stone fruit underneath that. Pineapple, apricot, and grapefruit competed with each other with the end result being a full-bodied and sticky beer that felt like it had a bit of wheat in it. This was low on bitterness and very ripe in the back, with a slight burn in the aftertaste from the bit of sediment that settled at the bottom of the liquid.
Light in alcohol, this would decently crushable as I would have cracked open another can had there been one here. As others have noted, this needed a date on the bottom of the can as I had no idea how fresh it was. Worth a go once, for the artsy label, novelty factor, and ease of enjoyment as this was more than a gimmick or novelty. Would love to have it fresh!

Solid and drinkable, but there are better from bbc.
These folks need to get their canning date printed on the cans ASAP. Can't take too many more chances with old stock.
EDIT: I see they do have dates on some cans, and this one was way old - 3 months. I'll try again if available fresh.

A honey beer done right very sweet but subtle honey flavor softens the IPA tones to make a very pleasant drinking experience. A simple novelty but I approve!

A thick haze within this straw-gold liquid color. Whipped white foam covering holds on tight.
The hops have a very "freshly picked" aroma. Orange peel, mint leaves, creamy citrus and various spicy and earthy hops and grains aromatics along the way.
First sip is seriously juicy, with pronounced flavor's of creamy citrus hops, berries and tangy sour earth tones. The honey adjunct is subtle but obvious with a wild, floral and sweet smell and flavor. This is easily one of the best beers I've had with honey. The hops are diverse in complexity and finishes with a very smooth and slightly bitter effect.
Easy, fun and interesting.
