16oz can from Tavour. Near black pour with fizzy tan head. Light roasty aroma. Taste is roast malts, chocolate, faint coffee notes. Dry. Mildly sweet.

Canned 2/15/19
Pours a tan fizzy decent head with fair retention, little lacing, very dark basically black little ruby light when it thins
Nose some roasty malt aromas with a little coffee, super nutty like peanutbutter, a little cookie wafer, touch fruity, nice dry roasty malt mostly
Taste very dry rich dark roasty malts, some roasty malt bitterness and dry, little char, then dark bitter chocolate, a bit nutty as well, light cookie wafer but not sweet at all, a little fruity like raw coffee bean fruit, thick smokey even from the scorched roasted malt but not acrid, dry bitter finish, more roast and char
Mouth is med bod, very dry but a touch creamy, medium lighter carb
Overall not bad, good dry roasty malt, nutty gets a bit overpowering, cocoa and light fruits were nice

L -- Pours a fairly black body with two fingers of tan head produced with moderate pour. Some retention and minimal lacing
S -- Nutty coffee, bakers chocolate, barnyard earthiness, metallic herbaceous hop, roast
T -- Largely follows the nose. Kinda weird nutty/earthy/metallic thing going on here
F -- Medium- mouthfeel, medium+ carb. Fairly drinkable
O -- Hoping for a little more from this one. Very cool brewery, though. Love their focus on local ingredients

A little heavy on the charred tobacco for my liking. By far my least favorite of the flight. It smells good and has a nice body for a low abv stout, but the flavors don't come together for me.
