Appalachian Wild Ale fermented and aged in oak barrels with a ridiculous amount of local red raspberries for eight months. Fermented and conditioned in the bottle for an additional six months.

Courtesy of @jerryfreak. I pulled this straight out of the 52 degree F beer cellar which likely contributed to the fact that this was an absolute gusher when I opened it. Beer everywhere.
Appearance is a dirty red with loads of red tinged head that quickly dissipated. Aroma is not the most complex...it's basically raspberries with a little bit of faint funk. This is not a criticism. It smells amazing! Taste follows. Very light and lively. @ovaltine you would absolutely love this beer.

Appearance: Arrives raspberry red with an impressive pinkish head; splashy lacing
Smell: Bursting with fresh raspberry aromatics
Taste: Both the sweet and slightly tart aspects of raspberry fruit are present, up front; oaky, with some funk, in the middle; the finish starts dry and oaky, with an increasingly tart aftertaste
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation; somewhat puckery
Overall: Quite an achievement; just an astounding expression of the fruit
