Pours deep red. Pinkish red, foamy medium head that Fades slowly.

Smells Blackberry, fruity, vinegar, musty, earthy and a touch of Funk.

Tastes tart and earthy Berry, grain and dry wine. Finishes dry with a berry and medicinal linger. Medium body and fizzy medium carbonation.

Pours a deep purple with a one inch pink head that disappeared before I took the picture , no lacing. Smells of ripe raspberries with a hint of yeast. Taste follows the nose with a hint of grains and some blackberries. Light bodied and carbonated, extremely refreshing.

 

 

Appearance: Arrives hazy and deep purple colored with a two finger blackberry juice colored head; splashy lacing

Smell: Slightly grainy with a hint of Saison yeast phenols; the blackberry is detectable but doesn't overwhelm

Taste: A hint of grain, up front, with the blackberry tone developing; slightly tart, with a dry finish

Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: Easy to drink with just enough flavor to be interesting; I like the dry quality

 

 

 

 

 

 

Appearance - Pours blood red with nice pick head that settles to a thick ring. No lacing.

Aroma - Big raspberry aroma, light vinegar, musty earthy aroma with a little yeast.

Taste - Really crisp refreshing flavor, lots of fresh raspberries you can almost taste the seeds.

Feel - Pretty light bodied crisp and clean so refreshing the flavors almost pull off the palate.

Overall - Really like this beer, lots of flavor light and refreshing.
