Appearance: Pours magenta colored with a fizzy mauve head that fades away rather quickly; a few dots of lacing
Smell: Bursts with dark cherry aromatics, hinting at both the tart and sweet aspects within
Taste: The tart and sweet sides of the dark cherry intermingle; relatively clean flavors, through the middle, though the finish is rather dry and slightly woody
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a fading carbonation - starts out moderate but quickly sputters out
Overall: Despite the carbonation issues, this beer is a treat; tastes like something that would come out of a New Glarus fermentation tank
