Look: It pours very dark brown with a dark brown head. It has average head retention.
Smell: It has a combination of roast, apples, and caramel. It has some dark fruits featuring plums.
Taste: The roast and caramel is stronger in the flavor. It has apple flavors with a bit of chocolate and plums.
Feel: It has a full body with a finish that is on the sweet side.
Overall, a nice drinking stout with different flavors that work from many other beers.

On tap in a 12 ounce stout snifter glass.
Opaque pitch black color. Dirty tan ring, no head. That’s ok, the liquid filled the glass. Small waves of lacing. Good look.
The fire roasted malt aroma is prevalent. The apple aroma is not. The caramel is strong which adds sweetness to the aroma and eases the booze bop.
The flavors are reminiscent of a craft candy store’s caramel concoctions. Sweet, toasty, caramel, and cream. The apples show up.
Full body, syrupy and chewy. Liquid roasted caramel malts. Sweet and clean.
FF did it right.

Picked up a 16 oz single can from the Blue Door Bottleshop in Hendersonville 10-18-22 for $5.25. Canned 9-30-22; consumed 1-13-23. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured black with a nice tan head.
Nose was primarily roasted malts with a touch of apple. Caramel comes thru nicely as the beer warms up.
Taste is a heavy roasted malt base infused with a touch of roasted apples and caramel. Finishes very nicely hopped and balanced as a result.
Mouthfeel is medium to large bodied and velvety smooth.
Overall a well-crafted beer by the Fonta Flora team!

Looks like motor oil when pouring. Thin brown head which quickly dissipates. Dense, buttery mouthfeel. Very chocolatey. Notes of roasted coffee beans and caramel. Apple comes through towards the finish, and is perfectly balanced - not too sweet, not too tart. Beautiful lingering finish.
