Not as smooth as one might expect from an oatmeal beer. Nice roasty aroma and a very dry finish.

Poured on-tap at the brewery and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a brownish-black color, with a tan, sparse head. Aromas of roasted grains, subtle coffee, milk chocolate, and subtle cream. Flavors are bitter roasted coffee forward, with cocoa nib highlights, and a hint of cream. Smooth, dry bodied, with a roasted coffee aftertaste. Smooth, dry finish. Tasty beer.
