Formerly known as #007 Zenith Saison
The sun is high, the sky is clear, the mercury is rising — and everything's cool. It's summer in Wisconsin, baby, and it only comes but once a year. So ride that heat wave, bask in the glow, let your mood, mind and spirit soar right up there with that yellow ball in the sky. With one hand, drop your cares and worries and cell phone, with the other, put a kung-fu grip on this farmhouse-style saison, this coriander-and-orange-kissed brew, this delicious golden haze of a beer. Drink it in, take in the view from your personal mountaintop, and smile. Whatever the day brings, you and this brew are gonna' face it together. And it's going to be great.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is fruity, yeast, touch of honey sweetness. Taste is fruits, malts, yeast, earthy, light sourness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is an enjoyable beer worth trying.

A bit sour for a saison, but in a good way. Nice balance, a variety of fruits hitting the palate, cherry and raspberry most dominant. Not sure where the tart is coming from, but I'd drink this again, and again....

Crisp refreshing beer on a hot day. No farmhouse funk like some Saison beers. Overall a good beer, but not complex so i don't think it's special. Not my favorite style, so I am not the best guy to compare it to other saisons.

Bought as part of a mix 6; poured into a Perfect Pint.
Appearance was pale, with a slight haze, reminiscent of a weiss, but duller and with a slight green/grassy tint. Head was brillant white and appealing.
Smell was a mix of lemon, grapefruit, and fresh cut grass.
My first sip reminded me of a Budweiser, but then the wheat and yeast kicked in. Yeah, I don't think there is any wheat in here, but this tastes more like a weiss than the other saisons I've tried; lemon with a hint of grapefruit...bit sour, but very yeasty. About half way through, the temperature was closer to 50 degrees, and a smoothness came out that made the flavor more buttery and less yeasty.
Feel was a bit slippery, with modest carbonation.
Overall, not what I was expecting. I would find it very hard to drink one of these to quench my thirst in the summer, due to the strong presence of yeast. Too much like a weiss for my liking; I will not purchase this again.
