Pours a clear amber with a fast fading head that leaves some nice lacing behind. Lots of malt on the nose, but the taste is much more balanced. Just enough hop presence to blunt the sweetness of the malt. Not my favorite style, but nicely done.

Sixx bought a 6pck of this beer to share with the Chiefs during the Eagle River Pond hockey tournament. It poured a clear amber with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had faint malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with smooth malt base and subtle hop highlights. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

Having spent my formative adult years In 'scone in, I like the friendly concept behind this beer.
Looks about average for an American amber; could use some brilliance, clarity is not enough. Smells mostly malt ( which I like).
Tastes about the same; a gentle beverage for maltheads like me. In the mouth, give me some more something, let's say it needs more malts and gentle finishing of hops.
I might have this again if there was nothing new to try.

It pours a n amber color with about a finger of white soapy bubbly head. This just average for the style. It is easy to drink, though I had trouble discerning whether or not I tasted bitterness in the finish or if it was something else.
