Bitter, Bready, Rind, Orangey
Unknown does not stray off the path here at all when it comes to brewing an IPA. The brewers intention is more hops, more grain, & more flavor or at least that is what they see in the American version which is spot on. Minty, spicy, rind like hops leave more flavor than bitterness and this is a pretty bitter brew. Malt foundation runs deep and sturdy. After a few sips the hops take hold, perhaps this is when the name kicks in ... over the edge, but just slightly.

Poured from a can into a pint glass.
Appearance: Darker amber color with a thin white head.
Smell: Smell of Hops.
Mouthfeel/ Taste: Smooth medium bodied. Taste of bitter hops and pine. Light citrus.
Overall: Good IPA. I would have this one again.

From a can.
Hazy body that looks like unfiltered apple cider but topped by a weak, bubbly head.
Hoppy and pleasant but not exceptionally promising aroma.
Fine flavor profile with excellent balance and a well chosen mix of hops and malts.
Overall: a fine East Coast IPA.

Amber brown, slightly hazy, and topped by a nice pile of bubbly fluff. Lace is very clingy... Aroma is loaded with peach, citrus, maybe honey, candy lime and pineapple. Full but light. Taste is coniferously hoppy. Again, lime and spicy, with lemon. Asertive with its in your face hoppiness. Sweet, fruity, zesty, and in general, well hopped.

The Over The Edge from Unknown Brewing is ok....not out of this world. The beer poured a cloudy copper with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent is bitter with pine base. The taste leans mostly bitter with some sweetness at the front and a bitter citrus toward the back. The mouthfeel is medium in body with decent carbonation. Overall its good....not sure I'd go out of my way for it though.
