Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass at the Taco Mac in Atlanta, GA. The appearance is a murky light copper color with a small white head. The aroma is well, tea. The taste is Very tea like with some sweet honey like hints to it. There is some malt and a slight beer bitterness.

Pours a hazy orange appearance. This is a very interesting beer. Labeled as an amber ale brewed with black tea and orange blossom honey - has a bit more of a hoppy bite than I’d expect from an amber ale, although I’m not complaining. A bit sweet at first, but then subtle notes of tea on the finish. The tea notes linger for a while, and once empty, the glass smells like it had contained iced tea. I wish it were a bit smoother.

Just got a six pack of cans from my local grocer.

I have always liked the Unknown logo so this can is attractive to me with the white background and copper (tea colored)logo

L- Pours hazy copper tea colored with a minimal amount of head. Not an aggressive pour.

S- Smells like tea and honey. I have to be honest, my nose is not working that great tonight

T- Tea at first then honey and the bitterness kicks in. Light malt taste. Finishes dry with tea aftertaste

F- Lightly carbonated, bitter

O- Refreshingly bitter. Nice tea and honey taste. I like the concept. I would like to try this on draft.

I find myself liking alot of the beers I try from Unknown, and this one was no exception. Another conceptual type beer that still manages to taste like beer, but the sweet tea thing is definitely present, so if that's not your thing beware. Me, i happen to be a tea fan, so I usually like these beers that use some sort of tea as an ingredient . Split this one with the wife who also enjoyed. Not the type of thing I would drink everyday, but I would not turn another one down if offered one.

12 oz can poured into a shaker pint.

Appearance
Murky hazy amber with a short head that dissipates quickly.

Nose
Caramel, black tea, lemon, and honey. Smells wonderful!

Taste
Great black tea presence backed by a caramel and honey sweetness. A twist of lemon with some earthy hoppiness. The firm maltiness works great with the tea.

Mouthfeel
Medium-light bodied, smooth, clean, balanced, and refreshing.

Overall
This is an extremely enjoyable beer and only one of the few where the tea actually works.

12 oz can poured into a pint glass. Murky brown with orange/amber highlights. Half finger head that moves quickly to a thin lace. The aroma is standard amber ale variety, with a dose of malts, but with a twist. Picking up some herbal notes. And the taste. I'll admit I wasn't quite sure what a southern style amber ale was, and I didn't read the box label versus for the details to prepare myself, but this tastes like a straight mash up of sweet tea, honey, and a amber ale base. Not much of a semblance of hops, but there is a mild grassy/herbalocity to the flavor. The mouthfeel is fairly light, a touch thin/watery, and the carbonation is medium low as well. This seems well suited for outdoor/heat/session land. I can also see why this may be a polarizing one due to its sweetness But it goes down fast, and worth a try for tea fans.

I'm a big fan of this brewery, this is my least favorite however. The beer is what it would taste like if you mixed a light Amber beer with Southern Ice Tea. Nice color with a scent of honey and tea. Possibly good for a hot summer day. I also think this may be a good beer for someone who doesn't like beer whatever that means. Overall OK, but they make far better brews.
