Poured into a Saint Somewhere wine-style glass. No freshness date.

A- Pours a ruddy reddish light brown color with a 1/2 inch light tan head that retains a bit before becoming a thin ring around the edge of the glass and some faint wispy shreds of surface foam. Semi-resilient lacing leaves a broken ring behind.

S- Very oaky aroma with some lactic acid trailing behind. There's also an interesting medicinal funk there.

T- Strawberry hits first and then the oak/sour combo comes with a slightly astringent aftertaste. The strawberry sweetness somehow compliments the assertive oak character quite nicely.

M- Moderately tart with medium carbonation and a body leaning toward the fuller side.

O- Quite different from what I'm used to, which is a good thing here since the flavors all marry relatively well and result in an enjoyable drink. Nothing to go crazy over, but it's unique and tasty.
