Very bakery-like aromas and noses. Sadly the label dosen't reflect the reality. They say it's a Pilsner... well... it has nothing to do with Pilsner types. I'd rather call it a Helles bock (darker color, lack of hops falvour, yeasty taste, alc. over 5%).

Close to a good weissbier.

Pours a clear golden color and is topped with an avergae white head.
The aroma is mostly biscuity malts and grains. Easy to pick up.
The taste starts slightly sweet and bready. Lacks a bit of bubbles. Finish is mildly bitter.
Drinkable and nice, but nothing special really.

Overall a truly great beer, surely the best ever produced in Romania.
Fresh, crisp taste, unpasteurized, smooth, balanced and flavored
Nice, fruity and hoppy nose with a fine malt touch and what's more important, a great finish, a sublime aftertaste..

Label says it's handcrafted and unpasteurised. This is a first in the country, especially for bottled beers.
Pours pale golden to very light amber. Low foam, decent retention.
Smells really nice of sweet biscuits, grains, there's a very rustic feel about it. Reminds me of a cupboard full of bread, biscuits and such, i personally had a small childhood flashback.
Tastes of nice lightly toasted malts, sweet (not disturbingly) syrupy malts, reminding of sweet doughy bread. There's a low acidic green apple peal. Some low woody notes. There's a faint sulphuric feel also, like unburnt matches. Hops are nicely felt and herbal (uncommon in a Romanian brew), providing a more than mild bitterness, Pilsner-style, reminding of copper coins, autumn leaves, and leaving the aftertaste a bit dry.
A truly beautiful beer, will try it again and again, and if the recipe holds, it might become my favourite local beer.
On a side note, also had the on tap version. Pretty much the same, with a bigger sulphuric note.
