12 oz can served in a lager glass.
Pours slightly golden with a decent white head.
Spicy-fruity-grassy-hay aroma and flavor, but with a more herbal and very grassy flavor. Good balance and harmony. Moderate bitterness for style.
Medium body and carbonation.

12 oz can, taste on finish: skunky, nothing here to recommend particularly. Completely absent of tropical/citrus notes in smell and taste. This may have been a rogue batch. However, there are too many IPA offerings out there to take a chance.

Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a cloudy golden yellow color with a small white head. The aroma is unique, there are sone hops but the aroma is completely different from what i have experienced. The taste is smooth and hop driven. a very good beer

Appearance: orange in color with a 2" head.

Smell: citrus and some softer floral aromas are easy to detect.

Taste: caramel, grass, orange, grapefruit, and some mild woody tones finish it out. Bitterness is moderate.

Mouthfeel: medium bodied. Crisp to start, less crisp at the end.

Overall: a very easy to consume beer. Nice flavor profile and mildly refreshing.

Clean, crisp and refreshing, the organic IPA of Freehouse Brewery comes through with natural flavors from Nugget, Simcoe and Cascade hops give this beer a decidedly hoppy tilt.

Bright and golden, frothy and lacy, Green Door IPA leads the way with a classy ale look and backs it up with a waft of citrus, woodsiness and herbal aromas. Its taste resonates boldly with caramel, honey and a hint of graham cracer.

Lightly toasty, nutty and crust-like, the sweetness of the beer is fast fleeting, allowing for the taste of hops to carry a grapefruit, orange and fragrant wood character of cedar, spruce and sassafras. The taste tightens and the hop bitterness prevails in a dry, piney and grassy herbalness to finish.

Medium light and drying to near perfection, Green Door IPA gives the impression of drinking a salad, but its taste is pleasantly green, herbal, hemp-like and of citrus peel as the finish comes quick and lingers moderately deep with hop bitterness.

This is currently my favorite IPA. Out ranking bell's two hearted, and roughtail's hoptometrist which I have loved for a while. Freehouse has a great location as well but I'm happy this beer distributes in the middle of the state where I live.

A: The beer is hazy pale yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that has excellent retention properties and consistently left a thick head covering the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of citrusy and grassy hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of grassy hops with hints of herbal hops and a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels a bit shy of being medium-bodied and slightly crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA is quite easy to drink and isn't that heavy on the palate or overly bitter.

Feel is a little thin for me but really nice look and carbonation on this one. As somebody who is used to hop bombs from Singelcut/Nightshift/etc. this was a nicely drinkable and not over the top offering. Will be keeping an eye on Freehouse moving forward.

L: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had a golden color and a cloudy consistency. There was a huge, foamy, long-lasting head. Pretty good, but not great lacing.

S: A nice aroma of hops, malt, and a whole lot of tropical fruit.

T: Tasted of light malt notes, a moderate, but not overwhelming amount of hops, lots of tropical fruit (mango, especially), and citrus (orange). A really sweet flavor that's not as hops-centric as most IPAs. Tropical fruits are always welcome.

F: A well-carbonated beer with a surprisingly dry finish. Medium-bodied.

O: This is an incredibly likable, easy to drink beer. Doesn't exactly break new ground, but is definitely drinkable.

Not sure if it's different ever batch but my bottle says abv is 6.2%

Pours a lightly hazy golden color with a nice two finger cream colored head. The head falls slow and laces well.

Aroma is tropical hops, mango, orange, some light grapefruit rind like bitterness.

Taste is kind of like the nose but more mellow, hops are favorable some tropical fruit. Finish is touches of bready malt some grapefruit bitterness mingled with pine and mint. Not bad about average, not sure of age as bottle isn't dated.

Mouthfeel is light medium with average carbonation.

Overall not bad but not great just in the middle of the IPA group.

22 oz bottle into glass

Hazy yellow golden. Massive white head, it s over carbonated. But settle down and good lacing. Nice fruity and grassy hop aroma. Nice hop flavor, minimal bitterness. Great mouthfeel, slick and smooth.

Smells like pool of tropical fruit that a wet dog jumped in. I'm OK with it. On the palate it's more tropical fruit and pine. Medium bodied, low carbed, bitterness in check, hop forward IPA. Very well done.

On tap at CC... Poured into a tulip glass. Golden color and white head. Nice, fresh, hoppy aroma... A lot of flavor for 5.7% and super glad I tried it. Will be hitting them up for more beers in the future, and would gladly make this a go to tailgating / day of football / lawnmower beer.
