Pint at Closed For Business, another tulip at Freehouse.
Dry hopped with Citra, Galaxy, and Cascade, according to the brewer/bartender at Freehouse.

Bright golden orange, good clarity and visible carb trails, random spotty lace here and there.
Aroma is complex and fruity with some Brett and wild bugs present in a complimentary role. Cheese rind and citrus zest.
Taste is tart and quenching, some light Brett funk, light botanicals and citrusy lemon or grapefruit zest.
Well balanced with a crisp and tart with a dry finish, light to medium bodied.
Overall this was great stuff from a promising newer brewery.

L: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had a golden yellow / orange color and a cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of creamy head that lasted an average amount of time. Excellent lacing.

S: A solid aroma of saison funk, light citrus fruit, and a bit of hops.

T: Tasted of a fair shot of citrus (orange, in particular), light hops notes, the aforementioned funky quality, light malt notes, and a bit of lemon as well. A very focused and lively flavor, with a lot of citrus fruit mixing well with the funk. Hoppier than most saisons, but this isn't a problem.

F: A good amount of carbonation with a surprisingly dry finish. Light- to medium-bodied.

O: A very light and easy to drink beer. A good beer for summer.

Appearance: Arrives clear and golden, with a rather modest head that leaves just a scintilla of lace

Smell: Funk and tart citrus elements interplay; bready and yeasty

Taste: Tart, from the outset, with growing funk and citrus tones through the middle; all three flavors interplay through the finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: An interesting experiment but perhaps too much is going on here as the flavors are more interesting than really enjoyable to my palate
