Lagers are not my favorite style but this one is makes me stand up and take notice. An excellent beer, and another great showing from Great Raft, I'm really impressed with them.

Taste is grass, light hops, and honey. This beer is incredibly clean and hits the spot on a hot day. Super sessionable. This is a new favorite in the style.

Very small head with poor retention. Brew is a slightly hazy, almost sickly yellow.

Nose emphasizes the "light lager" aspect: grassy, floral, lightly herbal, all atop a pale, sweet malt biscuit. Very pleasant.

Sweet up front, but with a very nice balance of hop bitterness and flavor quickly following. Plenty of yeast influence, as well. Tastes almost like a Saison blended with a pale lager. A slight tang, as well; seem to be pilsner malts in here, as well, with their trademark peppery/skunky/cloying profile (post-review edit: confirmed). Very refreshing.

Lively and very, very smooth mouthfeel.

This beer tastes so much better than the appearance implies. It's quite nice, and I can only imagine it works much better in the hot, humid South than up here in the Northeast.

Clean, drinkable lager with a grapefruit rind and spice hop character and smooth bready malt character. Goes down easy when cold, and richly flavored when it warms up. I'd buy a case of this. You probably should too.

Pours an effervescent gold with copious amounts of eggshell colored head. Better than average head retention & lacing

S: Breadyness & grassyness

T: Follows the nose, dryness as well & a hint of lemon up front. Bready sweetness & grassyness combine as this warms, pears as well. Finishes dry, crisp & fruitty

MF: Medium body, fairly firm carbonation, nice balance

Drinks easy, not great, but solid

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a light golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell of malts, sweet, grassy. Taste is mild, some malts, grains and grassiness, not a lot of flavor. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

Poured from a 12oz can into a Dogfish Head Tulip Glass.

Look is a slightly hazy darker yellow with a thin head.

Aroma is lager yeast and dry biscuit malt.

Taste is rich and mouth filling, lots of malt balanced out by lager yeast and that sharp metallic taste.

Not a particularly complex beer, but delicious nonetheless.

Great Raft Southern Drawl has a thick, froathy, white head, and a hazy, somewhat bubbly, straw appearance, with heavy lacing left behind. The aroma is of sweetness (white or cream cheese cake icing), white bread, and grass. Taste is of those elements with barley malt and mild bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium and quite slick. Great Raft Southern Drawl finishes crisp and refreshing. RJT
