A devilishly delicious hop bomb that makes your nostrils flair and your tail point. Dry-hopped with massive amounts of Citra® and Mosaic® hops for a truly delicious treat. Impressions of tropical papaya, mango, and grapefruit wash over your taste buds. Fermented with our house hazy yeast for a soft mouthfeel that will keep you wanting more. All Hail Jucifer!

Really nice New England IPA that I enjoyed at a famous club in New Orleans, d.b.a., listening to Robin Rapuzzi’s band, waiting for Tuba Skinny to play. Beer almost as good as the band!

Pours a pale more yellowish color smaller off-white head that does lace well.
Aroma is fruity tropical fruits, mango and grapefruit citrus mingled with bready malt backbone.
Taste is nice follows the nose some tropical fruits, melon, bready malt base finish is grapefruit rind bitterness with hints of pine needle resin.
Mouthfeel is medium with lightly peppy carbonation.
Overall has hazy fruity notes but also contains a decent hop bite, best of both worlds.

What a nice surprise! Just rolled into Louisiana and picked up a sixer…delicious honey dew, mangos, papaya, some pine and a little dankness. Perfectly balanced with a nice clean bitter finish, I love how the sweetness is in check, a very satisfying IPA, I bet it’s near perfect when fresh ( mine is a little over 4 weeks old) . Great brew, I’m impressed!

From a can (when I would have preferred a glass) at the New Orleans airport. Can speak to its look, and the nose is pretty light. But the flavor shines. Very big on grapefruit, but not a super sweet juice bomb. The bitter hops lingers in a good way.

Lightly hazy body; pale yellow color; decent carbonation, lively; dense, fluffy, white head. Initial smell impression was cabbage, but as the beer opened, tropical fruit dominated; pineapple and grapefruit. Light yet very pleasant tropical fruit taste; honey dew melon; papaya; some mild grain background; light bread; delicate hop bitterness. Medium-light body; light juiciness.
I expected this to be a turbid, New England India pale ale hop bomb. Instead, I find this to be a fine, easy drinking sipper. I love the restraint used with this beer.
Pouring temperature: 42 °F; canning info: CANNED 10/16/23

This one's better than I remember it, and especially relative to my 3.79 review in 2018, so I'm just going to redo it entirely.
Appearance is hazy burnt straw yellow nearing orange with a persistently thick, creamy white head.
Its really fluffy head fills a medium body that delivers juicy, dank Smarties and light resins that even almost verge into a seedy nelson-like toastiness.

Jucifer stands out as one of my favorite IPAs. Boasting an almost orange hue, it's accentuated by exceptional white lacing that clings beautifully to the glass. Its very hazy and cloudy appearance only adds to its mystique. The aroma and flavor profile deliver a delightful bite, dominated by grapefruit and orange citrus overtones that truly make it exceptional. Whether sampled on tap or from a can, its delicious taste is consistent and remains a testament to its craftsmanship. This is not just an IPA; it's a smooth and enjoyable experience, sure to captivate any beer aficionado.

I have been drinking IPAs for several years now. I love trying new IPAs, but I always compare them to Jucifer. Jucifer is juicy, it's hazy, it has a nice bite. #1

12oz pour (on tap) at New Orleans Sheraton. Served in a straight wall glass.
Appearance: Translucent gold to orange color. Thin white head with plenty of lacing.
Smell: LOTS of tropical fruit: papaya and mango. Nice orange note as well.
Taste: Tastes a lot like it smells, but with more citrus and a nice bitter note for balance. Sweet bready malt complements the hops and there is a definite juice character to the beer.
Mouthfeel: Good carbonation, soft mother with a good thickness to it. A little dry in the finish.
Overall / Drinkability: I can see why this beer is highly rated. Amazing aroma and a great taste to match. Dangerously drinkable and I would not mind another. Well done!
