Good, relatively smooth ipa. Good mouth feel. Drank straight out of a can

I got a can of this beer from my good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego. It poured a clear yellow with thin white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had bitter hop notes. The taste was bitter leaning and followed a true English IPA profile. There was bitter hop with hints of pine and citrus. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a decent beer.

Pours a clear sweet tea color with a finger of white foam. Aroma is citrus, pine, resin, and light dank and peach. It smells rather west-coast IPA style, but the citrus mellows it out a touch. Flavor profile is light orange and mandarin. Pine and resin rebound the sweetness into a more balanced area, with light biscuit and bready malts peeking through. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a smooth, lightly velvety texture that continues the sweet tea-esque experience. Overall, modest hop notes toned down by quality malts keep this IPA drinking balanced and straightforward. At 5.5% ABV, this beer lands squarely in the 'quality every day IPA' category.
