A - can't knock the look, nice clear golden beer with a white head that dissipates a bit but still leaves nice lacing
S - pine, grapefruit, some overly ripe fruit, little bit of grainy quality to it
T - pine, grainy/bready malts, then some grapefruit, lacking a certain wow factor
M - light feel, alcohol covered, aftertaste grapefruit and bready malt
O - this is a good ipa, but I think it could use some tweaking. Right now even from a day old bomber I'm getting significant overpowering grains/bready malt coming through. That said, the aroma is pretty great, the taste just seems to be underwhelming once you dive in.

I'll admit that I'm partial to Ozark, but this is definitely my favorite local IPA, and one of my favorite IPA's period. It's quite light and clear in appearance, with a white head. Smells amazing, tropical fruits and pine needles, light and lofty. The taste is fruitier than many IPA's, and it's definitely not a "hop head's" beer, but the balance is damn near perfect. Again, a lighter mouthfeel that is normal for IPA's now days, but I like that.

Plus plus beer, perfect for spring/summertime.

I first tried Andy's beer when he brewed for West Mountain Brewery and his IPA was one of my favorites. Since opening his own brewery he's maintained the excellence of his signature brew.

This is currently my favorite from NWArkansas. Perfectly balanced and it is sessionable. You can taste the pine and citrus as well as smell it. However, it is not overwhelmed by those flavors and odors, enough of the malt sweetness still comes through, not much just enough. I hope the see this in cans soon.
