This beer is a staple of Northwest Arkansas, and has quite a cult following up here. Black color with a offwhite/tan head that laces really well. Smells sweet with some burnt chocolate and coffee notes. Upfront, the taste is heavily dominated by the roasted malt; coffee, bitter chocolate, and with a mild sweetness. At the end, there's a nice, yet light creamy sweetness and mouthfeel that sets the flavor off. Could no doubt be thicker on the mouthfeel, but that's just my preference in stouts/porters.

Overall, a completely solid stout, exceptionally balanced taste.

Very dark black with thin brown head. Moderate lacing. Smells of chocolate and coffee. Decent creaminess but on the thin side for a stout. Moderate carbonation. Has a sweet burnt maltiness and coffee flavor and a nice pungency. This is a decent beer, not the best stouiout there but still good.

Enters silky smooth. For a darker beer, the flavor was not as strong as expected. However overall was a nice experience and definitely would drink again. Went well with my burger.

Great sweet Stout. It's malty with a taste of chocolate. It does have some after taste but it's not overpowering at all. The ending taste is very nutty. A great stout without being overly heavy!

Pours out to a 1 inch tan head that recedes to a thin but permanent layer that leaves some bits of foam on the side of the glass. Color is opaque brownish black. Aroma is mocha and nutty. Flavor is strong coffee beans and a hint of vanilla. Mouthfeel is a tad astringent but overall acceptable. Very good stout.

A: The beer is black when viewed from afar but when held up to the light it is dark brown in color. It poured with a quarter finger high tan end that died down and left a thin collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of chocolate malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and is very chocolatey. It also has notes of dark malts and hints of roasted malts.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This stout is easy to drink and has nice aromas and flavors of chocolatey malts.

Touring through Arkansas. Can from Whole Foods in Little Rock. Dark brown body, effervescent, thin beige collar. Chocolate and roast character. Creamy with a chocolate finish. Nicely done.

A: Pours an opaque yet still clear jet black in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising slowly along the edges of the glass and faint dark cola brown colored highlights. The beer has a finger tall foamy dark tan head that slowly reduces to a medium to large sized patch of thin film covering a little more than 75% of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of roasted + dark + chocolate malts with a hint of caramel sweetness and light aromas of earthy hops.

T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of roasted + dark + caramel + chocolate malts with a hint of caramel sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of earthy hops. Light to moderate amounts of roasty bitterness which lingers through the finish.

M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol. Enjoyable flavors of roasty and chocolate malts without too much sweetness and just enough lingering bitterness. Slightly lighter in the mouthfeel would make this one drink a little easier in the warmer Southern weather.

Pours a nice rich, dark chocolate color with a 1+finger khaki colored head. Head is very effervescent. Doesn't last too ling but leaves some spiderweb lacing behind.

Aroma is roasted malt, dark chocolate, and espresso. Brown sugar and molasses.

Very rich flavor. Bigger than i expected. Coffee first, slightly bitter. Raw roasted malt. Molasses, caramel, and some graininess. Just a hint of vanilla-like cream.

Moderate, easy drinking body. Medium carbonation. Creamy mouth feel. Something a bit acrid in the aftertaste that knocks the score down a notch.

Really tasty, easy drinking stout. Rich flavors.

Ozark Cream Stout has an extremely exuberant tan head, a dark brown, with standard brown, on the edges, appearance, and splotchy lacing. Aroma is of rich cream, chocolate powder, and brown bread crust, and the flavor is of those elements, with mellow char. Mouthfeel is medium and velvety, and Ozark Cream Stout finishes medium dry and pleasant. RJT

One of my favorite non-Imperial stouts.

Look of a dark stout, with a creamy tan head.
Smell of roasted malt and coffee on the nose.
Taste of roasted coffee, a hint of chocolate and toffee-ish sweetness.
Feel is very smooth, creamy — you can bite into this one. Perfect amount of bitter/hops. Malt sweetness is perfect.

Overall this is my go to local stout. I think it would be my go to stout even if Ozark wasn't a local brewery and so readily available. At $7.99 a six pack it isn't super cheap, so price is definitely not the only factor in it being a go to low ABV stout.
