First off, this was a cool can. Ozark's APA was a nice trade surprise. Great balance and nice resiny hop bitterness. Wish i could get this in Louisiana.

12oz can, Duvel tulip, no freshness date at all (seriously?).

Hazed golden rod, small white head.

Peach, lemon, strange sourness, lychee.

Tastes like there’s some wheat in here. Peach again, as well as that very odd sourness.

It’s thin with medium carbonation.

This seems like it could be something, but come off a little thin from all angles.

Another local offering while on business in AR..

Light hoppiness and a big punch of stale sourness abound here....there's a strange finish that I get from other beers from this brewery..it's either yeast or infection...

I don't care for this beer at all personally....doesn't hit 90% of the marks for an American Pale.. it just tastes dated and past its prime

I hosted a gathering of old college friends and one of my buddies had just returned from Arkansas where he picked-up a mixed 12 pack of beers from this brewery.

Poured into my Bass Imperial Pint glass, the beer is a hazy dark yellow with a semi-dense and clingy white head.

It has an inviting aroma of citrus pine and bready malts.

The taste is similar to the smell. Nice hop bite with a pretty much classic APA taste profile. I get pine an bit of grapefruit, crackers and a hint of caramel.

The mouth has a decent slick quality with midrange heft. It has very active carbonation.

I like this one and am glad there are about 3 more different beers to try from this new to me brewery.

I got a can of this beer from my good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego. It poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had subtle dark fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with subtle orange flare. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Poured from a can. Golden in color with a good sized white head and lacing. Smells of pine and citrus hit the nose. Taste follows the smell, very good full flavor. Good!

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of pine, roasted malt and caramel. Raw, earthy hop bite and very malty. A little unbalanced.

12 fl oz pull-tab can:

A very run of the mill pale ale that compares unfavorably to widely distributed expressions of the style like Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale and Deschutes' Mirror Pond. If you're living in Arkansas, you have access to Toppling Goliath and Lost Forty Brewing's Pale Ales as well as myriad others that blow this out of the water.

Pours a translucent copper-brown with a finger and a half of off-white head. Head retention is good. Aroma is bread, wheat and barley malts and herbal and resiny hop notes. It has a raw grain quality to the aroma. Flavor profile follows the nose, hitting burly barley and bready malts with a raw grain huskiness to it. Hops are herbal, resiny and lightly sticky. Mouth feel is lightly soft carbonation that evokes a very refreshing texture. It has a medium-thin consistency. Overall, bready, grainy with modest hops makes for a balanced and delightful pale ale.

Served in a 15.5oz Spiegalau tulip from a 12oz can.

Pours a clear darker golden color. 1 finger white head. Decent retention, and there's some lacing on the glass. Not the beer itself, but I do like the can artwork.
The nose has a nice light hoppy aroma to it. The aroma leans toward the pine hops. Pleasing.
Taste - Interesting. I was expecting a hoppy beer based on the aroma, but it isn't. It has some hops, but it also has a crisp flavor, that I can't quite put my finger on. There's a slight malt to it also.
Lighter in body, but not watery.
Interesting beer, and it does taste good.
