Pours an effervescent gold with 1 pinky of pearl white head. Stellar head retention & lacing

S: Banana peels, pears

T: Follows the nose, white pepper as well up front. Pheno;s & white pepper push trough with green banana as this warms, slight bready sweetness as well. Finishes with green bananas, cloves & a whisper of lemon zest

MF: Medium bodied, soft carbonation

Drinks pretty easy. This was a little better on draft

I have yet to have a beer from Ozark that is anything less than excellent. This one looks great with a lovely head and lacing, smells great and its taste is right on style -- typical Belgian yeast and sweetness, but the sweetness doesn't overpower the overall effect. The brewers say they're working at full capacity: a pity, because their beers deserve wider distribution.

12 FL. OZ. can
Served in a snifter

This beer pours pale yellow in color. It is topped with less than an inch of white head that leaves very little lacing.

The smell is spiced pear along with Belgian yeast esters.

I get pear and spices in the taste.

Thin mouthfeel

It is a well done Belgian pale ale. It is true to style.

Ozark Belgian Style Golden Ale has a thin, white head, a hazy, golden appearance, some ascending bubbles, and moderate lacing left behind. The aroma is of fruit (pears), some horse blanket, and a touch of spice. Taste is of fruit, hay, low-level to nonexistent bitterness, stomach acid, and a strange chalk thing. Mouthfeel is watery, with that odd chalky character. Ozark Belgian Style Golden Ale finishes semi-crisp.

Belgians aren't my thing as a rule, but this is an enjoyable beer. The smell is zesty, some sweet fruit and pepper. Taste is pears with a little tart pepperiness. A slight hop character that is overwhelmed by the sweetness. Medium mouthfeel, medium carbonation. I would choose other's first, but it's a good mix-up from the norms.

Pours a clear, gold color. 1/5 inch head of an off-white color. Slight lacing and slight retention. Fits the style of an Belgian Pale Ale. Smells of yeast, sweet malt, grass, hint of hop, and slight floral. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong yeast, hint of spice, sweet malt, hint of alcohol, hint of hops, slight floral, and a hint of grass. Overall, weak appearance, decent aroma, but good body and blend.

Golden, straw colored in the glass with a little haziness in the glass. White head dissipates quickly. Aromas harken to citrusy fruit, a nice tropical marriage to the light bready yeast to overwhelms the flavor. Tastes of grassy, floral hops, laced with fruit. Light bodied, refreshing and crisp finished..
