Very popular in stores here. Drank cold it's pretty bitter, not real fond of the hops used.

My go-to session IPA. It's not near as complex or wacky as many of our other NW IPA. A great example of a clean example of an American IPA.

Clear orange with three fingers of cream color head. Plentiful lace.
Smell is floral resinous hops with rich malts.
Taste is resinous floral hops with strong tasty malt backing.
Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. The finish is dry and lightly bitter.
Overall a tasty and satisfying IPA. From a can dated 12/19/17.

First had this on tap at the source back in, oh I'd say around 2009. Since then, their canning line and distribution has got it into my neck of the woods. Kind of surprising to me that there aren't more reviews for this, I thought this beer was everywhere. Pours a copper color with professional clarity and an industry standard 3/4" white head. Aroma smacks almost exclusively of Chinook hops or ones similar to them.
Taste is almost prototypical PacNW kind of old school beer, except this one uses slightly less crystal malt and isn't major aggro on the bitterness. This one keeps it around 60ibu and relies more on the pale toasted malts instead of the heft and residual sweetness that you get with the caramel stickiness and density in the mouth feel when you do it that way. Decent little standard banger.

On tap in Boise.
Cleat copper body with a good head.
Medium - full, crisp body.
Moderate strength and bitterness for style.
Piney and grassy but not fruity.

I really enjoyed this (on tap at Papa Joe’s), lots of hop flavor without the overpowering tartness. Hazy amber with a small creamy head, mild pine bitterness, abrupt finish. Enjoyable and highly drinkable.

Thanks to my friend Chris (BellinghamBeerQuokka on Untappd) for this one. A nice citrusy, piney example of the style, with a semi-dry finish. Worth trying if you see it.
