The colour is very pale cool yellow, the liquid is almost clear. The three fingers head is white and compact, and it sinks slowly leaving lots of lacing on the glass.
The smell is fresh and malty with cereals, wheat flour, grassy/floral hops and a touch of honey.
The taste is rather light with growing notes of cereals and pilsner malt. Lots of French loaf and a touch of butter. Medium body. Clean sweetness in the aftertaste as well as floral hops, fresh cut grass and a fragile clean bitterness. The finish is sweet with some white bread.
The carbonation is medium strong, the many small bubbles smooth and long-lived. The liquid is surprisingly smooth for a 4.7% beer.
A tad too pale and not bitter enough for a pils.
