Brief impressions from a growler pour. Thanks, Otto!

Muted orange citrus and concomitant zest mingles with subtle (~2/10 in terms of intensity) sourness to good effect. More acidity and twang would be nice, but it's got soft malt underpinnings and a pleasantly clean pilsner malt backbone.

Really well balanced and built, though the blood orange could be more vivid and expressive.

Highly drinkable and enjoyable, with a good flavour profile for a gose. I don't get traditional coriander, to its detriment, but the premise is great as Anderson Valley's superior expression of the premise has proved. Depth of flavour could be better. A little too pulpy.

i have always loved these guys and found their beers to be supremely underrated. this is another great one, although i have to observe that the amount of blood orange in these has definitely has some variance over time time and the batches. lately though, its on point, pungent and tangy on the fruit, not too acidic but still quite lactic and puckery, clean and sharp though, with just the right amount of salt and still plenty of body. the packaging is sexy, and i think for a fruited gose, its one of the best in the market right now. hazy and not all that active on the pour from the bomber, but the aroma of fresh citrus and lacto make it mouthwatering. the fruit is juicy and not too dried out in the flavor, while the salt makes it linger and forces me to drink it quickly. refreshing as can be when ice cold, but somewhat more complex after it warms up just a hair. im not sure why these guys arent getting much love from the squeaky wheel beer geeks yet, but if they keep making beer like this, the hype will come. definitely one of the beers of the summer this year in colorado. get some, its affordable and awesome and apparently getting better with each successive batch...

This beer was my first sour and Gose based off a recommendation from a local store. It pours a hazy orange/yellow with a half finger white head, the beer has a very subtle but pleasant citrus scent which is obviously to be expected. It's a very light beer where the taste of the orange and sour balance out nicely, I honestly wouldn't have minded a little more sour or a stronger orange flavor. Overall it's a very drinkable and refreshing beer that I see myself enjoying mostly in the summer time, but I do see myself coming back to time and time again.
