One of the things I miss the most about Austin. Great butcher shop on E. 7th with a great selection of house prepared meats. You can get these to go or they have sit in menu for lunch and dinner. Relatively small tap/bottle options, but most are quality. They also have cold brew on Nitro, so if you ever feel like a 50/50 Old Rasputin and cold brew you can.

A wonderful butcher/restaurant/beer bar. Walking in, there is a small area up front that displays the meats and other goods they have for sale on any given day. Then, a long and narrow dinning area. With a wood bar going the same length as the tables. A waitress is up front to greet people, and I was seated right away.

Friendly and knowledgeable service. With the manager giving samples of a few things to people sitting at the bar and dinning at tables. Like a cold smoked pork chop, um yes you want that. The deviled eggs are some of the best I have had anywhere. The eggs are pickled which gives it an interesting tart bite, with a great spicy deviled middle. The Odd Bits are great, and are usually really unique. Anything from pork rillette to lamb liver. Let alone the amazing charcuterie plate and out of this world aged and marbled steaks.

Beer selection is small, but I think it is really well thought out. 8 taps of Mostly Austin breweries like ABW, Live Oak, and 512. Though Firestone Walker, and they had just killed some Saison Brett not to long before I showed up. I need to make another visit ASAP.
