Vibe: I visited this place early on a Friday afternoon and it was about half full of student-aged patrons. One wall was filled with cuckoo clocks and the other side of the restaurant overlooked the bar and the kitchen, which had a huge fire to cook the sausages.
Quality: Beers were served in a variety of glassware and earthenware at the proper temperatures.
Service: Service was normal by German standards—the waiters were never in a rush to come over to your table but if you flagged them down they made sure to come over.
Selection: There were eight German beers available on-tap, including selections from: Bierfabrik, Braufactum, Hopfenhacker, Pirate Brew, Schultheiss, Strassenbraü, and Zirndorf. The bottle list was even more extensive, with 48 beers from Germany, 16 from the United States, 13 from Belgium, 7 from Denmark, 6 from Austria, 5 from the United Kingdom, 4 from the Netherlands, 2 from Spain, 2 from Sweden, 1 from Estonia, 1 from Italy, and 1 from Norway. There are also about a dozen different types of beer available for take away.
Food: You can't go wrong with ordering sausages here. There were something like a dozen different varieties and all of the ones that I tried were wood.

For classic German taste with a modern twist you can’t go wrong. With its extensive beer and food list you’ll find everything from traditional bratwurst and sauerkraut to salmon sausages and Wasabi-cabbage. From the moment you walk in it smells like heaven with sausages on an open fire. Great craft beer list from all over Europe and even the US. Bottles to drink in house or to go. Beautiful setting with both traditional German and modern decorations. Staff is very knowledgeable in craft beer from around the world and especially Germany
